Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University said that 35 research groups have been formed to build the abilities in fields and projects that serve the country development issues. He also referred that the new research projects include increasing the development of food production and safety, renewable energy, information technology, nanotechnology, agricultural sciences, and natural resources.

Benha University announces for holding a celebration under the title of “the Education Excellence Day” that will be held on Tuesday, 09/06/2015, 11:00am at the Great Hall of Celebrations under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the University President.
It is worth mentioning that the University during the celebration will honor the excellence in scientific researches and the winners of the University awards 2014/2015 as well as the top students of each faculty 2014 in addition to the representatives of the quality units at the accredited faculties.

Benha University a number of Egyptian universities will participate in the International Conference of Higher Education in Britain during the next week in the presence of more than 1000 university and educational institution. It is worth mentioning that a session has been allocated for the first time during the Conference about the Egyptian higher education.
Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University and the member of the Egyptian delegation said that Dr. Hussein Eissa, the President of Ain Shams University; Dr. Yasser Sakr, the President of Helwan University; and Dr. Ashraf Hatem, the Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Universities will participate in the Conference.
