In cooperation with the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education “NAQAAE”, the Projects Management Unit “PMU” at Benha University organized courses on self-assessment for higher education institutions for faculty members at the faculty of science under the presidency of Prof. Dr. Abdel Rahim Shoulah, the CEO of the University PMU. Courses were held under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the University President and Prof. Dr. Adel Adawy, the University Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches.

Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University met with the council of the faculty of science to discuss the ways to create a new building for the faculty at Kafr Saad by more than 100 million Egyptian pounds in the presence of Prof. Dr. Soliman Mustafa, the University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs; Prof. Dr. Gamal Ismail, the University Vice-president for Community Service and Environment Development.
