A graduation project at the Department of Electrical Engineering (Power), Faculty of Engineering, Benha University qualified for competing with31 projects at Made in Egypt Contest at the level of faculties of Engineering in Egypt. The contest has been held on Saturday, 01/09/2012 at the Conferences Hall in Nasr City. Title of the project is “Design of non-Directions1 Digital”.

Prof. Dr. Ali shams El Din, the President of Benha University confirmed that the next period requires further changes. He pointed that decentralization in work has been implemented as well as general managers have been given great powers to active the work and eliminate the routine. During his meeting with general managers of the University, Shams confirmed the importance of the young. He added that trust must be returned between manager and employees. He confirmed the importance of preparing for the new academic year.

In the framework of Benha University plan to automate the Departments; the Management Information Systems Center (MIS) organized a workshop for employees of the account units at the University on Tuesday, 28/08/2012. The workshop was attended by Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the manager of MIS and Mrs. Amina Anwer, the assistant secretary general for the financial affairs of the University.

The Course of (Developing the Skills of Thinking, Management, and Entrepreneurship) will be started on Tuesday, 28/08/2012 at the Faculty of Education instead of the Faculty of Physical Education. The Opening Party will be held at the Great Hall of Celebrations next to the Faculty of Commerce. After reviewing the Universities Law No. 49 of 1972 and Law No. 84 of 2012 and its article (13 bis); the Supreme Council of Universities approved the conditions and procedures of Academic Leaders Elections in its session 26/07/2012. According to the aforementioned, the Faculty of Agriculture will open the door for nomination for the position of Faculty Dean from Sunday, 02/09/2012 to Tuesday, 04/09/2012.
