Dr Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President launched initiative for supporting Scientific Researches to Face Corona . El Saeed assured that is among the followed steps by Benha University to limit spread of Corona Virus and to allocate a budget from Scientific Research Fund to support innovative projects which tackle and limit spread of the Corona Virus. On the other hand, Prof.DrNasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice-President for Post graduate Studies and Scientific Research mentioned that the initiative aims to develop diagnose through developing new methods for laboratory tests to detect infected persons , develop rapid devices and the use of artificial intelligence applications to monitor and track infected and contact persons as well as treatment techniques through the designing or developing new ventilators in an innovative way and low price. The University Council held its meeting on Wednesday, 2622020 under presidency of Dr Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President who congratulated Dr Randa Mustafa after appointing her by a presidential decree as the University deputy for Community Service and Environment Affairs and hoped for her best wishes and great success at the new position. Maj.Gen.Abdul Hamid Al-Hagan, and Dr. Gamal Al-Saeed, Benha University President discussed the future plan for establishing the University Specialty Hospital according to the political leadership orders to improve the health system and the submitted medical services for citizens in the governorate. The Meeting was held in presence of Dr Randa Mustafa, the University deputy for Community Service and Environment Affairs, Prof.Dr. Hussein El Maghraby, the University Vice-president for Education and Students #39; Affairs and Dr Mustafa El Qady, Faculty of medicine dean. Al –Hagan declared his happiness to cooperate with the University to achieve such giant project which considered a new addition to the health system that serves the citizens of the governorate and neighboring governorates .Al-Hagan also directed the executive departments to facilitate procedures, extract the necessary licenses to speed up the implementation of the hospital project and remove any obstacles facing the project. On the other hand, DrGamal El Saeed said that the New Specialty Hospital represents one of the main pillars for providing a suitable medical service to citizens, indicating that the new hospital project was and is still a dream for the sons of El Qalyubia to ease the burden on Benha University Hospital

Prof.Dr. Randa Mohamed Ahmed Mustafa, Benha University Vice- President for Community Service Affairs opens a charity exhibition for clothes at the Great hall of Commerce Faculty in cooperation with Lions Club. The exhibition is held under presidency of Dr. Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President. On her word, Randa Mustafa said that the exhibition is an image of support and solidarity which organized by the University in terms of its social responsibility. She also stressed that Benha University does not spare an effort to cooperate with civil society institutions to serve the community and students.Randa Mustafa mentioned that the exhibition included more than 1,200 pieces of clothes and shoes of various kinds, which are sold at low prices, in order to relieve the shoulders of students and their families, adding that the exhibition has witnessed a large turnout of students in various colleges of the university.
