Prof. Dr. Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President has decided to allocate one of Kafr Saad University Hostel for coronavirus cases from the University staff and faculty members who affected from the infection of novel Corona Virus"Covid-19". El Saeed added the preparations of the University Hostel for Coronavirus Cases comes in the light of report provided by Higher Committee for Novel Coronavirus Crisis Management at Benha University and its hospitals as well as within the alternative plans of the precautionary measures to limit the spread of Coronavirus "Covid-19

Following to Benha University precautionary measures to limit the spread of Corona Virus "Covid-19", the University staff has cared to wear medical mask during the first work day after the vacation of Eid Al-Fiter. The University also has forced the staff and visitors to enter throughout the Self-sterilization gate for ensuring the health safety of everyone

Dr Gamal El Saeed, benha University President has issued a decree to form a higher committee at the Univeresity and hospitals to face spread of Corona Virus .The decree was issued under auspices of Prof.Dr.Randa Mustafa, Benha University Vice- President for Community Service Affairs. The Higher committee includes ; Dr Mustafa El Qady , Faculty of Medicine dean , Dr Ibrahim Rageh , head of Clinical Pathology department ,Dr Hossam Abd El Azim , Dr Ahmed Yusuf, Dr Tareq Samy Essawy , DrAmr Salah and Dr Mohamed Shaker.The University President mentioned that the Committee is going to follow up and activate the role of anti-infection and the quality assurance , inaddition to providing the required support for medical teams at the hospitals . the committee is going to keep in touch with other hospitals to exchange experience about limiting spread of Corona Virus.

DrGamal El Saeed , Benha University President assured on the necessity of activating international relationship between Benha University and Wuhan University to benefit from their experience at facing Corona Virus and the used medication method to reduce the severity of Corona Virus .He also added that a meeting via video conference system between medical teams which included; 10 professors from Benha University and six professors from Wuhan University had been held to transfer Chinese experiences in confronting Corona virus in terms of diagnostic methods, isolation, preventing the spread of infection within society and how to protect medical teams as well as the adopted methods of treatment in accordance with the Chinese medical protocols, which have proven its effectiveness in the last experiments

Dr Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President launched initiative for supporting Scientific Researches to Face Corona . El Saeed assured that is among the followed steps by Benha University to limit spread of Corona Virus and to allocate a budget from Scientific Research Fund to support innovative projects which tackle and limit spread of the Corona Virus. On the other hand, Prof.DrNasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice-President for Post graduate Studies and Scientific Research mentioned that the initiative aims to develop diagnose through developing new methods for laboratory tests to detect infected persons , develop rapid devices and the use of artificial intelligence applications to monitor and track infected and contact persons as well as treatment techniques through the designing or developing new ventilators in an innovative way and low price.
