Benha University Selection Committee has held its meeting today to conduct interviews with the employees applying for the supervision positions. These positions are the Financial and Administrative Director for the University Branch in Obour, Secretary of the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence, Director of the University General Services Department, Director of Headquarters Affairs Department, and Director of the Secretarial and Archives Department.for digital transformation to smart universities

Prof.DrKhalid Abd El Ghaffar, minister of High Education and Scientific Research and DrAmr Talaat, minister of Communication and Information Technology inspected the pavilion of Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence which was held at the 1st Forum for Artificial Intelligence. Dr Hala Helmy Zayed presented several inventions of students at Artificial Intelligence department which gained a support from DELL-EMC organization as they are among the best 350 project on the level of Middle East and North Africa

Dr Hala Helmy Zayed , Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence dean announced that Benha University has signed a cooperation protocol between NTI and Benha University to prevent hacking , piracy and espionage of students and faculty members' data. This protocol aims to coping with the latest technology Cyber security and also raising skills of trainees at English and communication skills especially for students at Faculty of computers and Engineering. Dr Hala Helmy also said that 20% of the first students at least are going to be certified after passing one of the International exams for free. She also added that the trainee will get accredited certification from Cisco Company

Prof.Dr. Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president urges that the alumni should have three main skills: languages, computers skills and communication skills. The university president stresses that the university provided low-costed courses in the languages center for the students and the faculties' members alike. This statement concurs with the workshop that is held on Thursday, 26-1-2017. This workshop is among a group of workshops held for the first forum of the Egyptian universities to develop the educational process. This forum will be held from 22-2-2017 to 25-2-2017 under the auspices of prof.Dr. Ashraf El-Shihy, the minister of higher education, Prof.Dr. Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president and prof.Dr. Ibrahim Ragah, the head of the projects development unit in the university and the deputy of community service and environment development in the faculty of medicine. The workshop is attended by prof.Dr. El-Syed Fouda, the den of the faculty of law, prof.Dr. Muhammad Mansur, the deputy of community service and environment development in the faculty of law and prof.Dr. Khalid Esawi, the university's president's chancellor of the stduents activities.

Engineering Sector Committee at the Supreme Council of Universities has approved to establish three new programs at Faculty of Engineering Shoubra where Prof. Dr. Sayed El Kady, the former dean has been succeeded to establish three new programs as following; Communication & Computers, Electrical Engineering and Control and Management of Engineering Sites. The established programs will serve the community and cope with modern technologies which serve the coming generation. He mentioned also that, these programs will serve our country in its projects which support the national income.
