Numbers of students from Benha University have been participated in the events of opening a number of new national projects by President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi.

Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president of Benha University opened the digital forensic lab at faculty of Computer and Artificial Intelligence.El Gizawy was accompanied by Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs, Prof. Gamal Soussa, the Supervisor on Community Service Sector, Dr. Hala Helmy Zayed, the Faculty dean and other professors of the Faculty.

Open researcher and contributor ID organization aims at solving the problem of similar names and names abbreviations of the researchers in addition to solving the problems cultural discrepancy in writing the names and avoiding the fund of the projects.

There are 19835 students who are having their exams including 4302 students who are having their open learning exams, 15105 students who are having their under-graduate students and 428 newcomers. Prof.Dr. Eid Hemida, the dean of the faculty of commerce says that the exams are strictly up and running.

Prof.Dr. Hala Zayed, the dean of the faculty of computer and informatics says that Benha University holds, under the auspices of prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the University president and prof.Dr. Gamal Ismail, the vice president of the environment development and community service, prof.Dr. Hesham Abu EL-Enin, the vice president of post-graduate studies, with ITI institute a program entitled “Web development using open sources” for three months for the fourth grade students from 28-8-2017 to 7-12-2017.

The students of the open learning continue to do their exams which started last Tuesday as there are 11253 students do the exams of the open-learning at the faculty of law. Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed Fouda, the dean of the faculty of law says that the exams last for 25-12-2017.

Under the auspices of prof.Dr. El-Sayed EL-Kady, The university president and prof.Dr. Hesham Abu EL-Enin, the vice president of post-graduate studies and research, a delegation of Benha University participates in a workshop entitled “the new open learning” on Thursday, 11-5-2017. The workshop was attended by prof.Dr. Ghazi Assasa, the university president chancellor of IT , prof.Dr. Muhammad Ghanem, the vice executive manager of IT and the head of the E-learning, and prof.Dr. Ezat EL-Khiat, the head of open learning center.

The board of the open learning center decides to work according to the rules to make sure that everything is up and running for the open learning students in addition to arranging a plan to develop the curriculums that meets the demands of the labor market. The head of the open learning center says that the fees are increased by 50 L.E. for each subject. He says that the cost of the printing books increased up to 100% and the employees bonuses were decreased to 20%.

Prof.Dr. El-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president urges the faculties' dean to increase the products and release them into the market in order to serve the community, decrease the burden on the citizens and face the high raise in the prices. This statement concurs with prof.Dr. El-Sayed El-Kady presidency of the leaders council, which includes the faculties' deans and the university president chancellors, that is held on Tuesday at the faculty of engineering/Shubra. The council approves to decrease the fees of the employees, their sons, the sons of the faculty's members in the open-learning at the amount of 50% after excluding the annual fees imposed by the state.

Prof.Dr. El-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president with prof.Dr. EL-Sayed Fouda visit the halls of open-learning exams in the faculty of law and the university president listens to the students in the exams halls to make sure that these exams are up and running as he stresses that the rules of the exams should be followed. The university president adds that the university seeks to provide all the facilities needed of the first semester exams. The university president also inspects the new building of the central library and the exams halls asserting that there should be a deadline to finish all these constructions.

Prof. Dr. Sayed El Kady, the President of Benha University heads the council of open education in presence of deans and the general secretary of the University to discuss admission and transfer date. The University president has approved the required numbers of students for the academic year 2016/2017. Dr. Ezzat El Khayat, the manager of open education declared that the University president has accredited results of the 1st semester.
