Prof.Dr. El-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president inaugurates «National big Projects: the challenges and the future visions» Forum in the presence of Dr. Ahmed Zaki Badr, the Local development Minister, Dr. Ahmed Darwish, the head of Suez Canal development board, Dr. Kamal Gad Shawiram, the President's chancellor of Projects Development, Dr. Wael EL-Degwy, the former higher education minister, general/ Amr Abd el- Moniem, Qulybia Governor, several presidents of the Egyptian universities, people assembly representatives, the faculties deans, the staff members and the university students. The university president stresses that this forum is important to get people to know the national big projects which are carried out nowadays and their impact on the comprehensive development in Egypt in addition to providing the youth with many job opportunities.
Dr. Ahmed Zaki Badr, the Local Development Minister asserts that the national projects which are carried out nowadays are the main pillar for prosperity and development. He also classifies these projects into two kinds: the strategic national projects and cities and villages related national projects.
He stresses that there are 1620 projects has been finished from September 2015 to September 2016 at the cost of 160 billion L.E. this statement concurs with his presence in the national big projects which was organized by Benha University under the auspices of Asraf EL-Shihy, the higher education minister, general/ Amr Abd el- Moniem, Qulybia Governor and Prof.Dr. El-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president.
The general Amr Abd el- Moniem, Qulybia Governor stresses that people should get out of the narrow valley and make use of the vast spaces in Egypt. He shows how important are these national projects for the state's development and providing the youth with many job opportunities and he asserts that the university should let the youth see these projects to make sure that their future is fine.
This statement concurs with the national big projects forum in the presence of the Local Development Minister and the university president.
Prof.Dr. Wael el-Degwy, the former higher educational minister stresses that the state is now building a big scientific project which is "Zewail city for scientific research" at the cost of 3.7 billion L.E. Dr. Ahmed Zaki Badr, the Local Development Minister announces that the state is now building 3006 projects in many Governorates stressing that the state's policy obliges it not to build new projects until the current ones are done. He adds that the cabinet presents a report of these projects to the people's assembly to have a look on it. The minister indicates that there are 1620 projects have been finished and operated to serve the Egyptians. He stresses that the cabinet meets every week to discuss how these projects are going and the problems that may hinder them in order to find a solution. Dr. Ahmed Darwish, the head of Suez Canal development board asserts that the idea of Suez Canal axis project was initiated in 1976, but the project was put into practice at the era of president El-Sisi a year ago. The project was divided into stages. The first stage is on the banks of the canal from Port Said to Ein-el- Sokhna.
Dr. Ahmed Darwish, the head of Suez Canal development board asserts that the new Suez Canal project is scientifically-based one and it is the greatest project in the history of modern Egypt. He also says that this project will contribute to the development of Egypt.
He indicates that the economic reforms of the government will help to develop the Suez Canal territory. Dr. Kamal Gad Shawiram, the President's chancellor of Projects Development asserts that the state is now building 6 tunnels to transport 5 million populations from the valley to Sinai. Prof. Dr. Ayman Ashour, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Ein-Shams University asserts that the new administrative capital was built to be an entrepreneurship center at east Cairo. This entrepreneurship center includes buildings, organizations, schools, hospitals, scientific centers, exhibitions, conferences halls, malls, Opera and culture center.
