Dr. Nasser Al -Gizawy, President of Benha University has announced that University students won 12 various medals that included 2 gold, 3 silver and 7 bronze in the martyr Al -Rifai championship that was held at Ain Shams University.For his part, El Gizawy congratulated the University students who won at the championship activities, expressing his pride and proud in what the university's students have achieved, stressing the University's keenness to support distinguished and talented students at all fields, and support student's activities and encourage students to develop their talents in order to prepare generations capable of innovation and creativity.

Dr. Gamal Sosa, Benha University President has announced that Benha University students has got 10 medals at Egyptian Universities Athletics Championship "El Refaee 49" Which was held at the American University with the participation of 42 Egyptian universities.

Benha University has got 11 medals at the Egyptian Universities Athletics Championship which was organized at The Olympic Center in Maadi. Benha University students' have participated at that competition under auspices of Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president of Benha University, Prof.Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs and Dr. Khalid Esawy, the General Coordinator for Students' Affairs.

The general administration of youth care organizes the university's competition of athletics among the students which includes running for 100, 200, 400, 800, 1500 meters, long jumping and the Javelin. Mr. Ibrahim Abd EL-Allah, the head of the general administration of sport activities in the university says that the faculty of physical education wins the first place, the faculty of education wins the second place and the faculty of science wins the third place.
