The 40 student teams which represent 25 public and private universities continue their participation in activities of the "Smart Cities Hackathon", which is held at Benha University.

Ahmed Osman, Eng. Amr Osman and Dr.Manal Darwesh. Prof.Dr. Nasser El Gizawy emphasized that Benha University department have been well prepared for that visit to renew the certificate of ISO 90012015.

Benha University Council under presidency of Dr Gamal El Saeed, the University President, Prof.Dr. Hussein El Maghraby, the University Vice-president for Education and Students ' Affairs, Prof.Dr. Randa Mohamed Ahmed Mustafa, Benha University Vice- President for Community Service Affairs and Prof.Dr.Nasser El Gezawy, Benha University Vice-President for Post graduate Studies honored Ahmed Sedqy, Samer Mohamed Abd El Aziz, Ayman Khairy and the Supervisor Dr Ayman Ali Nada who designed and invented the first Electronic sterilization portal at Benha University. The University President mentioned that Electronic sterilization portal has been designed according to an initiative by Benha University to limit spread of Corona Virus by sterilizing visitors and patients at hospitals and vital places at the University

Prof.Dr. Hussien EL-Magraby, the acting university president meets, in his first day in office, with the geometrical board in the presence of prof.Dr. Muhammad Saied, the university's geometrical chancellor to keep an eye on the amendments in the university and its faculties. General/ Mahmoud Ashmawy, the El-Qulubia governor congratulates Benha university team on winning the first place in the robot competition in Malaysia. Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president thanks General/ Mahmoud Ashmawy, the El-Qulubia governor due to the fruitful cooperation between the university and the governorate and he says that the university is doing its best to solve the community's problems.

The students of Benha University obtain the first place in the robot competition in Malaysia. Prof.Dr. El-Sayed EL-Kady meets the team before they travel to Malaysia urging them to achieve something that the university can be proud of and that what really happens.

The team is headed by prof.Dr. Adel Mubarak, the vice president of EL-Monifya University of student and education affairs. Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president stresses that that all visions should be thoroughly studied and the mistakes should be pre-solved. This statement concurs with the university president's monthly meeting with the mangers of the departments in the presence of Mr. Wahid Khalawy, the general secretary of the university, the secretaries of the faculties and the general managers of the university's faculties.

The university council approves, in its meeting in 24-4-2017, to issue the strategic plan of Benha University 2017-2022 (the second version). The university council thanks the strategic planning team and the head of the team prof.Dr. Gamal El-Sayed Abdel-Aziz for his efforts in issuing the university's plans efficiently.

The supervision team of SGS Swiss Company recommends that many departments in Benha University should be given the ISO certificates 9001:2008 in the presence of Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president, Eng/ Magdy El- zabalany, Eng. / Hamid Radwan, prof.Dr. Ahmed Farahat and prof.Dr. Abd EL-Kader Abd EL-Kareem, the head of the quality management project in the university.

Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed El-Kady, the university president honors Ahmed Ezat Sehim the Republic Champion in bodybuilding. The university president also honors the chess team in the employees' club in the university who wins the first place in the premier league of chess. The winners are the following; Ayman Tawfik, Yehia Muhammad EL-Gendy, El-Sayed Abd-El-Reheim, Hazem Yehia El-Gendy, Nada Yehia El-Gendy, Muhammad Hesham, Alaa Hesham.

Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University has honored the Quality Team of the Faculty of Agriculture in Moshtohor under the presidency of Dr. Mahmoud Iraqy on the occasion of getting the accreditation from NAQAAE in the presence of the University Vice-presidents, Deans, faculty members, and students.
