Benha University Continues Its Global Advancement in Academic Performance Ranking 2025

Prof. Nasser El Gizawy, the President of Benha University, announced that the university has achieved the rank of 783 out of a total of 3000 global universities, advancing 93 positions from last year (2023-2024). Locally, it ranks 10th among 37 public and private universities in the University Ranking by Academic Performance (URAP) for the 2024-2025 edition.
Prof. Jehan Abdel-Hadi, Vice President for postgraduate Studies and Research, noted that the ranking aims to develop a system for classifying global universities based on academic performance indicators that reflect the quality and quantity of their scientific publications. It also seeks to identify potential areas for improvement regarding academic performance indicators.
She added that the ranking relies on six academic performance indicators, with scientific output forming the basis of the ranking methodology. The indicators include the quality and quantity of scientific output, citation references, and international research collaboration performance.
