Prof.Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, announced the participation of student Maysoun Mohamed Hashim from the Faculty of Medicine at the University in the Fourth Global Youth Summit. The summit was held under the theme "Educating the Individual in an Era of Global Change: Values and Career Paths" in Kazan, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia. The event was attended by over 200 delegates from 45 countries, including Brazil, Bangladesh, Qatar, Colombia, Mexico, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Nigeria, the Philippines, South Africa, and others.

Benha University actively participated in the global initiative "Earth Hour," which aims to raise awareness about the importance of environmental conservation and energy consumption reduction.

Prof. Nasser El Gizawy, the President of Benha University, announced that the university has achieved the rank of 783 out of a total of 3000 global universities, advancing 93 positions from last year (2023-2024). Locally, it ranks 10th among 37 public and private universities in the University Ranking by Academic Performance (URAP) for the 2024-2025 edition.

Dr.Nasser El Gizawy, Benha University President has announced that Shanghai Global Rankings of Academic Subjects 2023 has issued its new classification for the Academic Year 2023.

Prof. Dr. Gamal Sosa, Benha University President announced that the Benha University has maintained its regional ranking and has advanced globally in the UI Green Metrics.

A delegation from Benha University under the chairmanship of Dr. Gamal El-Said, President of the University and Dr. Hussein El Magraby, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, will participate in the activities of the first international forum for higher education and scientific research between the present and the future from 4-6 April in the new administrative capital. Dr. Al-Saied said that we are keen to participate in this global scientific forum and view the successes achieved by Benha University in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship. He pointed out that Benha University is one of the oldest universities where the Faculty of Agriculture in Muthahr was established more than 100 years ago in addition to the distinguished location of the university geographically to its proximity to Cairo and its presence in the heart of the delta as well as the spread of its faculties Benha, Muthahr and Shubra.

Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University stated that the Leadership Foundation for Higher Education has launched a new programme under the title of “Global Leadership Programme” to build a new strategy for universities to become more dynamic and effective in cross-cultural leadership and in their own institutional internationalisation strategy.
