Starting Apply for Benha University Awards 2026

Benha, Egypt – Prof. Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, announced that the General Administration of Scientific and Cultural Relations, under the University's Postgraduate Studies and Research Sector, has opened nominations for the Benha University Awards 2026.
This initiative stems from the university's vision, mission, and strategic objectives to achieve the highest quality in scientific research output and intellectual production, linking them with industry to enhance its international ranking.
El-Gizawy emphasized that the university adopts numerous programs to stimulate distinguished faculty members and young researchers, aiming to achieve top-quality scientific research outputs and intellectual production, thereby improving the university's standing locally, regionally, and internationally.
The university awards include:
· University Appreciation Award
· University Award for Scientific Excellence
· University Encouragement Award
· University Award for Scientific Theses (Master's and PhD)
· University Award for Innovation and Patents
· University Award for Human Rights
· University Pioneer Award
The award categories span four main fields:
1. Engineering and Technological Sciences (Faculties of Engineering, Computers and Artificial Intelligence, Applied Arts, and Science)
2. Life Sciences (Faculties of Agriculture, Veterinary Medicine, Human Medicine, Nursing, and Physical Therapy)
3. Basic Sciences in the Faculty of Science and corresponding scientific departments in various faculties
4. Literary, Social, Educational, and Legal Sciences
Only one award will be granted for each branch of the aforementioned awards, competed for by nominees from the faculties in the first four fields. Patent awards will be granted for each patent registered locally or internationally, with the university being a primary partner in all associated intellectual property rights.
