Microsoft Egypt has arranged for a meeting with the Egyptian Universities CIO’s on Monday 10-12-2012 in Cairo Marriott hotel where Microsoft’s new technology trends were presented and discussed. Professor Ghazy Assassa, CIO of Benha university, attended the meeting where, in particular, Cloud Computing and Distance Learning were discussed as applied to the education sector. Microsoft Egypt will arrange with Benha university for a workshop to present the new technology to Benha university Staff and students.

The Quality Assurance Center (QAC) will organize visits of technical support next week at the University faculties to follow-up the strategic planning, programs, databases, evaluation, training outputs, and the quality projects.
The visits will be made under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Abdel Rahim Shulah, the University Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches and Prof. Dr. Saad Mahmoud Saad, the Mnager of QAC.

The Open Leaning Council has been held today, 10/12/2012 under the presidency of Prof. Dr. Soliman Mustafa, the University Vice-president for Education and Student Affairs, and the University Vice-presidents in the presence of Prof. Dr. Salama Abdel Aziem, the Manager of Open Learning. The Council has approved the schedules of exams for the faculties of agriculture, arts, commerce, and law. The Council also has approved to open the admission for Open Learning, second term from 01/01/2013 to 07/02/2013
