Benha University has received Dr. Cliff Hancock, the manager of Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) on Monday ,322015 , in presence of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University, Prof. Dr. Gamal Ismail, the Vice-president of the University for Community Service and Environment Development , Prof. Dr. Soliman Mustafa, the Vice-president of Benha University for Education and Students' Affairs , Prof. Dr. Hesham Abu El Enin, the Vice-president of Benha University for Postgraduate Studies and Researches , Prof. Dr. Maher Hasab El Naby Khalil, the advisor to the University President and the supervisor of Scientific Researches Unit , Prof.Dr. Abdel Rahim Shulah, the Executive manager of Project Management Units and Mrs. Sohair Abd El Aal, the Secretary General of the University.
The meeting aims to discuss ways of activating cooperation between Egypt and United Kingdom in fields of higher education and scientific researches. The Delegation has also visited the E-portal team and E- learning team at the University to have a look on the nature of their work.

In the frame of Benha University seeking for openness to the world by the support of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the University President; the University has participated in the annual forum of EURASHE “the European Association of Institutions in Higher Education”. It is worth mentioning that the University has been represented by Prof. Dr. Ghazy Assassa, the Professor at the Faculty of Engineering and the CEO and Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the Professor at the Faculty of Agriculture and the Director of the E-portal.

The Egyptian-French Medical Association in Cairo participates in the World Leprosy Day that will be held for the third time in Benha University on Saturday, 21/02/2015, 10:00am at the Great Hall of Celebrations.
It is worth mentioning that representatives from more than 15 African and Francophone states and from World Health Organization “WHO” will participate in that Day Effectively.

In its meeting on Monday16/02/2015 under the presidency of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University; the University Council has mourned the martyrs who had been murdered at the hands of terrorism in Libya.
The Council said in its statement which announced by Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din that Egypt faces a battle against terrorism and the national support for our political leadership is an obligation to face extremism and terrorist groups.
