The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine – Benha University has organized a great celebration on the occasion of getting accreditation from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education – Egypt (NAQAAE).
The celebration has been organized under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the University President. It has been attended by Prof. Dr. Gamal Ismail, the University Vice-president for Community Service and Environment Development; Prof. Dr. Soliman Mustafa, the University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs; Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abu Salem, the Faculty Dean; Prof. Dr. Abed Abu El Roos, the Faculty Vice-dean for Postgraduate Studies and Researches; and Prof. Dr. Afafa Desouky, the Manager of the Faculty Quality Unit.

Eng. Mohamed Abdel Zaher, the Governor of Qalyoubia and Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University inspected the faculties and received the new students. They met the new students in the faculty of commerce and listened to their problems. They followed also the security procedures in the University and the main entrance gates.

The Excellence Support Management, Projects Management Unit (PMU) in the Supreme Council of Universities (SCU) opens the door for applying to the Competitive Excellence Project of Higher Education (CEPHE) – first session. Deadline for applying is Thursday, 26/09/2013. The fields of the Project include the Educational and Scientific fields as well as Community Service and Environment Development (academic, research, service and administrative system). The one project will be funded from PMU in the Ministry of Higher Education.
