Prof. Dr. Soliman Mustafa, the Vice-president of Benha University for Education and Students' Affairs has inspected the committees of exams at the faculties of specific education and science. During the visiting, he said that the complete calm is prevailing exams in all faculties and no riots or violation of university values and traditions have been happened.

Prof. Dr. Gamal Ismail, the Vice-president of Benha University for Community Service and Environment Development has inspected the committees of exams at the faculties of (computers and information – applied arts) with Prof. Dr. Hala Helmy Zayed and Prof. Dr. Yasser Sohail, the deans of the two faculties.

Today, 17/12/2014 the first tem exams have been launched in many faculties of Benha University. During his inspection tour inside the exams committees, Prof. Dr. Soliman Mustafa, the University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs referred to the necessity of providing calmness and health care inside the committees. He also said that 65 cameras have been constructed in the faculties and the important places to monitor the committees and suppress any riots.

The Faculty of Commerce, Benha University has launched the events of the 1st Scientific Forum on Suez Canal Zone with participating of experts from the Arab States and the international organizations. The Forum has been launched under the auspices of Eng. Ibrahim Mahlab, the Prime Minister; Prof. Dr. El Sayed Abdel Khalek, the Minister of Higher Education; Eng. Mohamed Abdel Zaher, the Governor of Qalyoubia; and Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of the University.

Prof. Dr. Sohair Nejm, the Head of the Laser Lab at the Faculty of Engineering, Benha University has announced for holding a seminar about laser technology and nanotechnology that will be delivered by Prof. Dr. Mustafa El Sayed, the Manager of Laser Center at Georgia Institute, USA and the holder of the highest decoration in American Science “National Medal of Science”. It is worth mentioning that Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of the University will attend the seminar at the Faculty headquarter in Shubra on Wednesday, 24/12/2014, 09:00am.

In the frame of Benha University caring to increase the scientific researches opportunities for faculty members outside Egypt and to provide scientific exchange between the Egyptian and the French universities; a seminar has been organized with cooperation of the French Institute in Egypt in the presence of Prof. Dr. Hesham Abu El Enin, the University Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches - Prof. Dr. Amany Samir, the head of the Department of French at the Faculty of Arts –Prof. Dr. Adel Takla, the former vice-dean of the Faculty of Arts – and Mrs. Nadin Meckawy, the official of the Scientific Department at the French Institute.

Dr. Sharif Hamaad, the Minster of Scientific Research and his Jordanian counterpart Dr. Amin Mahmoud have discussed the ways of the scientific and academic cooperation between Egypt and Jordon during the visiting of the Egyptian Supreme Council of Universities “SCU” delegation to Amman, Jordon.
