Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Researches' Affairs said that a research team from Benha University "BU" and other researchers from China, India, and Sudan published in the Journal of Food Biochemistry a study about Tannins inhibit SARS‐CoV‐2 through binding with catalytic dyad residues of 3CLpro: An in silico approach with 19 structural different hydrolysable tannins.

Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Researches ' Affairs said that Prof. Dr. Gamal El Saeed, the University President has approved to open the applying for the new course of International Publication and Citations Rewards, July 2020 which will be started from Tuesday, August 04, 2020 for one month He added that the papers accepted in this course are those that were published during the years 2019 and 2020, and have not been submitted during the previous courses and the number of citations will be calculated based on the last 5 years, according to the declared calculations of faculty member on Google Scholar; referring that anyone who has a Google Scholar account for paper that does not belong to him or who submitted research previously paid financial rewards for it in previous courses, will be blocked from the rewards of the University 's programs for researches support.

El Saeed assured that is among the followed steps by Benha University to limit spread of Corona Virus and to allocate a budget from Scientific Research Fund to support innovative projects which tackle and limit spread of the Corona Virus. On the other hand, Prof.DrNasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice-President for Post graduate Studies and Scientific Research mentioned that the initiative aims to develop diagnose through developing new methods for laboratory tests to detect infected persons , develop rapid devices and the use of artificial intelligence applications to monitor and track infected and contact persons as well as treatment techniques through the designing or developing new ventilators in an innovative way and low price. The committee of the researches marketing holds its meeting under the presidency of prof.Dr.Muhammad Abu EL-Ella and in the presence of the university's faculties members. Prof.Dr. Hesham Abu EL-Enin, the vice president of post-graduate studies and researches states that the period of presenting the competitive research projects of the young Researchers will be extended to the fifth round in the middle of February 2017. This bulletin aims at helping the researchers and gives them an equal chance to fund their research project.
