Major General Abdel Hamid El Hagan, Qalyoubia Governor has held a meeting with Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president of Benha University to discuss signing a cooperation protocol between Benha University and Directorate of Health to grant physicians the Egyptian Fellowship. The meeting has been held in presence of Dr.Hossam Hosny, the Secretary General of the Medical Fellowship Committee, Dr.Khalid Abdel Ghany, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Qalyubia and the delegation of the Egyptian Fellowship.

During his meeting with Dr. Samir Hammad, the Deputy Governor of Qalyoubia and delegation from the trainees of the Executive Presidential Leadership Program "EPLP"; Dr. Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President said there is a great development that has been occurred in the concept of the University's role in community service over the past 20 years, indicating that the University is an institution whose role is not limited to education and scientific research only, but also extends to community service and the environment.

General / Abdel Hamid El Haggan, Qalyoubia Governor and Prof. Dr. Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President have opened today drive-through coronavirus testing center in the presence of Prof. Dr. Randa Mustafa, the University Vice-president for Community Service and Environment Development Affairs; Prof. Dr. Hala Helmy, the Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence; Prof. Dr. Mustafa El Kady, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine; Dr. Mohamed Saeed, the University Engineering Consultant; Dr. Ibrahim Rageh, the Manager of the University Central Unit for Disaster and Crisis Management; Mrs. Samia Abdelhameid, the University Secretary General; Dr. Mohamed Goda, the Vice-dean for the faculty of Medicine; and Mr. Refaat Than, the University Assistant Secretary General. El Haggan has praised the vital role of Benha University by providing all scientific and human capabilities to limit the spread of Corona Virus "Covid-19" with coordination of the concerned authorities. The University president has said the service of drive-through coronavirus testing has been provided to the citizens inside their cars to avoid laboratories overcrowding and infection

DrAlaa Abd El Halim, El Qalyoubia's Governor and DrGamal El Saeed, Benha University President witnessed the organized ceremony by Faculty of Arts on the occasion of getting accreditation by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education. The Ceremony was held in presence of Prof.Dr Hussein El Maghraby, the University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs and DrAbeer El Rabat, the Faculty dean. The Governor in his word congratulated Benha University president and hoped for Benha University the best place among world universities
