Within the framework of Keenness from Dr.Gamal Sosa, Benha University President to support students' activities at all fields, The General Department for Youth Welfare has organized the Ideal Student Contest 20212022.

Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs witnessed the end of Geniuses Contest which was held under auspices of Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president of Benha University , Dr.Khalid Essawy, the general coordinator of students' activities and Dr.Musbah Kohely , the general manager of Youth Welfare.

Benha University launches the Geniuses contest under auspices of Prof.Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president of Benha University, Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs ,Dr.Khalid Essawy, the general coordinator of students' activities and Dr.Musbah Kohely , the general manager of Youth Welfare.

Prof.Dr. Shady El-Mashad, the head of IT portal that the winners are as follows:
1- Prof.Dr. Bassem Ahmed Zoheir, the professor in the faculty of science.
2- Prof.Dr. Mustafa Yassin Nassar, the assistant professor in the faculty of science.
3- Prof.Dr. Taha Awad Allah EL-Sayed Ibrahim, the lecturer in the faculty of engineering.
4- Eng. Ali Muhammad Ismail EL-Gazar, the teaching assistant in the faculty of engineering.

Benha university which obtains the second place in the contest of programming in the student creative forum at the AUC in UAE from 12-11-2017 to 15-11-2017.the research is entitled “designing and programming the 3D printers” of the student/Ahmed Reda in the faculty of engineering and it is conducted under the supervision of prof.Dr. Aref Ahmed, the deputy of the faculty of engineering.

According to what the faculties' members and teaching assistants and the meeting of the projects' managers of IT on Wednesday 8-11-2017, with prof.Dr. Hesham Abu EL-Enin, the vice president of the post-graduate studies and prof.Dr. Ghazi Assasa, the university president's chancellor of IT, it has agreed upon to extend the best links of the faculties' members contest to the end of November 2017.

The E-Portal in Benha University holds a workshop on Wednesday 22-11-2017 in the building of the faculty of computer and informatics a 2 p.m. on how to win the best links of the faculties' members contest and the lecturers are as follows: prof.Dr. Shady EL-Mashad and prof.Dr. Islam Sharaway.

Prof.Dr. Hesham Abu EL-Enin, the vice president of post-graduate studies and research states that the result, under the auspices of Prof.Dr. El-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president, has been endorsed by the supreme committee of the international ranking of the university. Rawan Ashraf, the student at the faculty of engineering and the assistant secretary of the sport committee, wins the first place and obtains the gold medal at the swimming contest. This contest is held in Aswan on Monday, 30-1-2017 and there are 135 players who participate in the contest around the Egyptian universities. Benha University also congratulates the student on her great accomplishment wishing her more success and prosperity in her life.

Benha university council honors, in its session on Tuesday evening under the presidency of prof.Dr. El-Sayed El-Kady, five students from the faculty of engineering- Benha who obtains the sixth position at the international contest for Robots in India. This contest lasted for three days with nine Arab and foreign countries represented by 12 teams. The students were overjoyed by the praise that was heaped on them by prof.Dr. Gamal Ismail, the vice president of the community service and environment development, prof.Dr. Hesham Abu- Enin, the vice president of post-graduate studies and research and the faculties' deans.

The university council honors the winners of the international programming contest that was held in the capital, Heliniski and lasted for three days in the last November. There were 1000 students from 428 European and American universities who participated in this contest. Benha university team obtained the second place in the contest. The honored students are the following; Bassem Ehab, Muhammad Sakr, Muhammad Abd-el-Nabi, Hesham Osman and Muhammad Ehab from the faculty of engineering/ Shubra in addition to Nourhan Radwan and Mirna Soliman from the faculty of applied arts.

Benha University is currently updating and revising the evaluation criteria of the faculties' members and new criteria will be declared as soon as possible. The faculties members are obliged to keep in touch with the IT portal team in the university and the new contest will be announced soon according to these criteria and the winners will be awarded in a special ceremony.

Prof.Dr. El-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president asserts that there is a great development at the faculty of engineering in Benha including the student activities. He says that the faculty will host the qualifying round of the international Robot contest which will be held in Delhi in 16-12-2016. The university president stresses that such event can boost the youth's confidence in addition to his faith in the power of youth whose creativity makes him able to invent a comprehensive Robot system.

The Committee of the Scientific Activity in the General Union of Benha University Students has organized with cooperation of Shubra Faculty of Engineering the Robot Contest (Shubra X) at the level of the universities under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the University President; Prof. Dr. Soliman Mustafa, the University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs; and Prof. Dr. El Sayed El Kady, the Faculty Dean.
