A student delegation from Benha University participated in the "Egyptian Foreign Policy" program organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Immigration at the Ministry' s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital. The event was attended by Prof. Badr Abdel-Aty, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, along with his assistants, and included the participation of 50 students from 20 Egyptian public universities.
Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, Benha University President and Ambassador Alaa Hegazi, the Assistant of Foreign Affairs Minister for the Diplomatic services and consular affairs have signed a cooperation protocol between Benha University and Ministry of Foreign Affairs in presence of the Ambassador Sameh Shoukry, Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Researches' Affairs said that the University got 14 Followships and 5 scholarships in addition to one joint supervision mission within the eighth 5 years plan of missions 2017-2022 by the competitive system between the applicants, adding that the delegation countries varied between America, Germany, Canada, Japan and Italy, confirming that scholarships included faculty members and researchers from the faculties of veterinary medicine, science, agriculture, arts, engineering in Benha, and commerce.
The first meeting of the foreign relations officials in the faculties is held in 19-2-2018 under the presidency of prof.Dr. Ghazi Assasa and the foreign relations officials in the University addition to the foreign relations officials in the faculties who have been nominated by the faculties ‘deans.
Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the University president receives a letter of gratitude from Prof.Dr. Sido Hasan, the vice president of Frontier University in Somalia in which he expresses his happiness because Benha University offers five free scholarships to the students in Somalia in the frame of the Egyptian's attention to Africa. El-kady says, in the University's council, that Benha University offers 100 scholarships to the students in southern Sudan and the University gets in touch with the ministries of foreign affairs and the higher education to start carrying out the decree of the University's council. He adds that Benha University seeks to direct its attention to Africa in response of the president's orders.
Prof.Dr. El-Sayed El-Kady, the university president hosts the prof.Dr. Osman Shehab, the chancellor of the embassy of Indonesia. This meeting is in the frame of discussing the possibility of education cooperation and student exchange between the two sides. The meeting is attended by prof.Dr. Gamal Ismail, the vice president of community service and environment development, prof.Dr. Abeer El-Rabat, the dean of the faculty of arts, prof.Dr. El-Sawy EL-Sawy, the coordinator of the international relationships with the Asian countries in Benha University, prof.Dr. Eman Abd-EL Haq, the deputy of community service and environment development in the faculty of education and the head of the foreign languages center in Benha University and prof.Dr. Tewfik EL-Rahman from the educational office in the embassy of Indonesia.
