Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, Benha University President has confirmed that the political leadership is interested in student talents and innovative projects within Egyptian universities. Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president of Benha University, inaugurated "Leadership and Influence Program" which is approved by the Supreme Council of Universities and aims to qualify candidates for Faculties' Deanship. El Gizawy said that the program is organized by Faculty and Leadership Development Center (FLDC) and it lasts for three days; totally 18 training hours.

Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs inspected the Leadership Development Center at Moshtohor. Dr. Tamer Samir was accompanied by Dr. Mohamed Abu Salim , the General Supervisor of the Center and Dr. Ahmed Naguib, the general Manager of the Center to check out the preparations and procedures used to receive Benha University students participants in the Future Leaders Camp 7, which will be organized by the center this month.

The faculty and leadership development center in Benha University organizes the third course on Tuesday morning. There are 120 participants of the faculty's members and researchers who take part in this course.

The faculty and leadership development center organizes the first distance training course on Monday, 8-5-2017 for the Kuwaiti post-graduate students according to the instructions of Prof.Dr. El-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president in activating the distance training in Benha University.

There are five preliminary workshops as preparation of the first Arab forum of the faculty and leadership development center. These workshops targets the classification of the curriculums, distributes them over three-days of the training, the determining the needs of the faculties' members, the teaching assistants, the post-graduate studies and the employees in addition to putting forwards many suggestions to develop the training organization as whole.

Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University stated that the Leadership Foundation for Higher Education has launched a new programme under the title of “Global Leadership Programme” to build a new strategy for universities to become more dynamic and effective in cross-cultural leadership and in their own institutional internationalisation strategy.
