Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, congratulated Dalia Kamel from the Faculty of Applied Arts for winning the grand prize at the Cairo International Festival for Comics 2024. The prize includes a trip to visit the Comics Festival in Berlin, Germany, sponsored by the Goethe Institute in Cairo.

In the presence of Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, President of Benha University, signed the protocol for establishing the Greater Cairo Region Universities Alliance, which includes Cairo University, Ain Shams University, Helwan University, Benha University, Al-Azhar University, and a number of private and civil universities. The President of Benha University said that the alliance aims to achieve actual integration between the elements of the higher education system and industrial institutions and to bridge the gap between academic programs and the actual needs of each region, in addition to contributing to advancing development rates in the Greater Cairo region through cooperation between the universities of the alliance and presenting creative ideas and solutions that serve the issues of national industry and allocating a number of scientific researches to support and develop industries, which achieves the optimal investment of sustainable centers in universities.

Prof.Dr.Nasser El Gizawy, The acting president of BU received Khairat Lama Sharif, Ambassador of Kazakhstan in Cairo and the accompanying delegation to discuss ways of joint cooperation at the academic and research level between the Benha University and Kazakh Universities.

After his word, Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president honors five scientists in the field of chemistry by giving them the armor of Benha University as follows: prof.Dr. Muhammad Youssef EL-Kady, prof.Dr. Saad Hasan, prof.Dr. Mahasen Saad Amin, prof.Dr. Galal EL-Gemiey and prof.Dr. Farouk Fahmy. The forum is attended by prof.Dr. Abd EL-Azim Mehna, the faculty's dean and prof.Dr. Alaa Amin, the head of chemistry department and the rapporteur of the forum.

Prof.Dr. Howyda Sadik, the faculty's dean says that the faculty participates in the student's conference at Cairo University. Many students are honored because they win the first place in the competition that takes place in the conference. Benha University participates in Microsoft Developers conference 2017 at the American University in Cairo from18-3-2017 to 19-3-2017. The university is represented by prof.Dr. Ghazi Assasa, the executive manager of IT, prof.Dr. Islam Saharawi, the head of the E- Services unit, prof.Dr. Amr El-Awamry, the supervisor of the IT units, prof.Dr. Lotfy Abu Salim, the head of the training project of IT and Eng/ Ahmed Zagzog at the digital network.

Benha university participated with a delegation included prof. Dr. Ayman Samir, the coordinator of the Japanese relationship in the university, prof. Dr. Islam Hanafy of the faculty of veterinary medicine and prof. Dr. Muhammad Reda samir of the faculty of engineering. This delegation was in the ceremony of the JICA to honor the researchers who obtain their MA Degrees from Japanese universities in the presence of the Japanese ambassador in Cairo.
