Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, announced that Menna Allah Ahmed Mohamed from the Faculty of Physical Education won first place and a gold medal in swimming at the University Girls' Olympics held in Alexandria under the slogan "For Better Health for Egyptian Female Students," with the participation of 500 students representing 21 Egyptian universities.

Benha University sadly receives the two pieces of news of the terrorist attacks on the church Mary Gerges in Tanta and the church of Mary Morkos in Alexandria which result in many causalities and the death of many Egyptians, but Terrorism will never terrify Egyptians and Egypt will never be defeated as the Egyptians will always stand firm and united against these mean incidents.

Benha University receives, with deep sorrow and bleeding hearts, the tragic accident that results in the death of several students of the faculty of pharmacy in Alexandria University. Benha University also hopes a speedy recovery for its students who are injured in the bus accident which is on its way to Sinai. Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president consoles the prof.Dr. Essam EL-Kordy, the president of Alexandria University, his deputies, the deans, the faculties' members, the employees and the students. Benha university president stresses that the university stands by Alexandria University with such tragic incident and puts all its potential at the disposal of Alexandria University.
