This category includes six Universities which are the American University in Cairo, Benha University, Beni Suif University, Kafr EL-Sheikh University, EL-Mansura University and Suez Canal University.
Benha University received its logo from the administration of the international British ranking that shows that Benha University is among the first category of the Egyptian Universities as follows:

According to Webometrics rankings in January 2018, Benha University has obtained 6th position in the ranking of the Egyptian universities; it also obtained the 20th position in the ranking of the Arab Universities, it obtains the 27th position in the ranking of the African universities and it obtains the 1802 position in the international ranking.

Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president stresses that the Egyptian universities are considered the home of experience and the communities have to make use of them. The universities have to serve the community and the Egyptian universities aspire to have qualified graduates for the labor market and the community needs.

Fulbright organization announces about many Fulbright scholarships and the program seeks to enhance the abilities of the faculty's members in the Egyptian universities and the Egyptian institutes. The scholarships last for 10 weeks beginning from 8-7-2018 to 12-9-2018 in some American Universities.

Benha University hosts the fifth meeting of the heads of quality management centers in the Egyptian universities. This event is organized by the national authority of quality assurance and accreditation center and it is entitled “the impact of the accreditation in higher education institutes” on Monday, 27-11-2017 in the university council hall.

Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president decides to invite the Egyptian Universities to participate in the workshop organized by Benha University that is about fighting terrorism in Next December. EL-Kady stresses that this forum comes in accordance with Benha university's initiatives that has been launched for one year.

The proceedings of the Sino-Egyptian congress have begun in Benha University and it will last for three days. This conference discusses 115 scientific researches that are related to agriculture, veterinary sciences and engineering and there are 10 Chinese universities which take part in this conference accompanied by a Chinese delegation in addition to several faculties' members in the Egyptian universities.

Prof.Dr. El-Sayed El-Kady, the university president inaugurates the first educational forum of the armed forces in the Egyptian universities. The inauguration is attended by major general/ Khalid Tawfik, the leader of defensive troops, major general/ El-Sayed Ghaly, the head of the war veterans association, the university's vice presidents, the faculties' deans, the faculties' deputies, the faculties' members , the employees and the students.

The students of the Egyptian universities, who participate in the first education forum from 22-2-2017 to 25-2-2017, recommend holding an annual education forum in Benha University to put the recommendations of the forum into practice, face the defects and the solve them. Prof.Dr. El-Sayed EL-kady, the university president asserts that Benha University approves on the students of Egyptian universities to hold an annual education forum in Benha University, but the university president will refer to the minister of higher education for approval.

Prof.Dr. Khalid Abd El-Gafer, the minister of higher education inaugurates, on Thursday at 10 a.m., the activities first forum of developing the education which is held from 22-2-2017 to 25-2-2017. This event is attended by prof.Dr. EL-Sayed El-kady, the university president, the general/ Mahmoud Ashmawy, the Qulubia governor, prof.Dr. Tarek Shawky, the minister of education, many universities' presidents and their deputies, the faculties' deans, the representatives of the parliamentary committees of the Republic presidency, the faculties' members, the researchers, the students and the civil community representatives. The minster asserts that this forum is a good occasion not only for exchanging experiences, experiments, and visions among the universities of Egypt to develop the education but also for cementing the relationships among them and getting to know the mechanisms of the thinking of the Egyptian universities affiliates.

Prof.Dr. Muhammad El-Nashar, The former minister of higher education and scientific research, prof.Dr. Sobhy Husseinain, the head of sport union in the Egyptian universities, Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed El-kady, the university president inspect the workshops of the forum of developing the education which is held from 22-2-2017 to 25-2-2017. They inspect all the workshops to know what the faculties' member and their teaching assistants and the students think regarding the main topic of the forum- the development of education.

In Benha university's leaders council, Prof.Dr. El-Sayed El-Kady, the university president and the head of the council honors the students of the faculty of nursing who participate in the activities in the second forum for the stduents of the faculty of nursing in the Egyptian universities that is held in the University of Assiout from 29-1-2017 to 2-2-2017. The university president honors the supervision team- prof.Dr. Mahboba Sobhy abd El-Aziz, prof.Dr. Hend abd- Allah El-Sayed, prof.Dr. Eman Sobhy and Mr. Ali Kamal Ali, the youth care supervisor. The honoring ceremony is attended by prof.Dr. Gamal Ismail, the vice president of community service and environment development, prof.Dr. Hesham Abu EL-Enin, the vice president of post-graduate studies and research, prof.Dr. Howyda abd EL-Hamid, the dean of the faculty of nursing, prof.Dr. Ahmed Rashad, the supervisor of the council secretariat and prof.Dr. Khalid Esawi, the general coordinator of the students activates in Benha University.

On Sunday, the activities of the agricultural round no.39 is launched at the faculty of agriculture in Benha University under the auspices of the minister of higher education, the minister of youth and sport ,the Qalubia governor and prof.Dr. EL-Sayed El-Kady, the university president. Prof.Dr. Mahmoud Eraqi, the dean of the faculty of agriculture in Moshtohor says that the agricultural round starts from 5-2-2017 to 8-2-2017 and there are 750 students who participate in the event. The students represent 14 agricultural faculties and institutes around the Egyptian universities.

Few hours ago, the result of the Webometrics international ranking is revealed showing that Benha university portal is among the best five Egyptian universities. The university also maintains the fifth place in its race with 23 governmental universities and it maintains the sixth place in its race with 61 governmental and private universities. Congratulations to everybody who participate in such prestigious accomplishment!

Rawan Ashraf, the student at the faculty of engineering and the assistant secretary of the sport committee, wins the first place and obtains the gold medal at the swimming contest. This contest is held in Aswan on Monday, 30-1-2017 and there are 135 players who participate in the contest around the Egyptian universities. Benha University also congratulates the student on her great accomplishment wishing her more success and prosperity in her life.

Prof.Dr. El-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president launches the first initiative of E-Learning in cooperation with the faculty of engineering and the faculty of computer and informatics. The university president asserts that this is the first initiative to turn the curriculums of the faculties to Electronic- curriculums. This statement concurs with the university president's meeting with the leader council in the university in the presence of the vice presidents, the faculties' deans, the university president chancellors and the secretary of the university.

Benha university council, under the presidency of prof.Dr. El-Sayed El-Kady, the university president, honors the handicapped students who have been excelled in sports and they obtained the first place in the Egyptian universities championship for the handicapped.

The students of Benha University get ten medals at the competition of the Egyptian universities in Alexandria. This competition was from Monday to Thursday and it was organized by the ministry of youth and sport and there were 22 Egyptian universities who participated in this contest. Prof.Dr. Moshbeh El-kehily, the general manager of the youth care at the university said that the students get five golden medals, three bronze medals and two silver medals in the athletic games and table tennis. Prof.Dr. El-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president asserts that students should practice sport and the university totally supports the handicapped as they are role models for the students.

Benha University participates in the scientific international forum about Green Buildings and sustaining energy which was organized by the Arab Union of sustaining development and environment in the Arab League. The forum was held in the presence of prof.Dr. Mahmoud EL-Magraby, the dean of the faculty of agriculture, ambassador/ Nada EL-Egeziy, the manager of the sustaining development at the Arab League and several ambassadors and scientists from different Egyptian and Arab universities.
