This research study investigated the effect of the semantic context of written text and the grammatical structures of this text on ability to infer (1) the meanings of unfamiliar words ,and (2) the grammatical function of words . the subjects of this study were second year prospective math teachers at the faculty of Education ,Ain shams university . the total number of subjects involved was 115:20 pilot sample , 50 experimental sample and 45 control sample. |
