This study aimed at overcoming preparatory school pupils efl writing apprehension and developing their writing accuracy by applying a suggested text-based approach program (T.B.A.P). the researcher hypothesized that the suggested program would neither develop the students’ writing skills via reducing their writing apprehension nor enhancing their writing accuracy. At abeginning, that was introduced to a jury of efl specialists to check its suitability to second year preparatory school standard. Then two English language writing tests wrer prepared by the researcher. Aftar that, the researcher prepared a text-based approach program (T.B.A.P).which program consists of 60 session. In addition, the subiects of the study were randomly chsen from two second year classes at suzan Mubarak preparatory school for girls. The sample comprised (n=41) pupils for the experimental group and (n=42) pupils for the control group. Both groups were nearly at the same age and level efl writing skills and writing apprehension as indicated by the pre-assessment of the translated sale of daly and miller and the two writing tests. |
