The Effectiveness of Using Some Graphic Organizers Strategies in Developing Deaf Students’ Writing Skills at Preparatory Stage Prepared by Rehab Ahmed Hamdy Hussein Emam Supervised by Prof. Fatma Sadeq Muhammad Prof. Eman Muhammad Abdel-Haq The aim of the present study was to investigate the effectiveness of graphic organizers strategies in developing English Language writing skills among EL – Amal institute students. The sample of the present study included third – year preparatory deaf students (N=16) from EL – Amal institute in Qalubia Governorate both at Benha and at Al Qanater Al-Khaireya. The instruments of the present study included a list of EFL writing skills required for preparatory deaf students and an EFL writing test. The EFL writing test was applied to the study sample prior to the application of the strategy as a pretest. All students were pretested then divided into two equivalent groups: control (8 students) and experimental (8 students). The strategies were applied to the experimental group for five weeks. After implementing the graphic organizers strategies in the study sample, the EFL writing test was post applied. Findings of the study revealed that the EFL writing skills of the study sample were developed as a result of using the graphic organizers strategies Therefore, it can be concluded that the graphic organizers strategies are effective in developing writing skills of third – year preparatory deaf students.
