There sreninedifferent surgical methods for treatment of chronic nasal obstruction;The injection of,sclerosine agents, Submucosal injection,of long-acting steroids, Surface caut,erization, Gr,yosurgery,Laser surgery, Out fracrure, Surgical excision, VidilUlneurec_tomy, Submucos9.1 diathermy.In this stUdy submucous diathermy has been used fer treamentof 30 patients suffering from chronic nasal obstructionby hypertrophied turbinace. Complete reliE!f occured in 24 cases(so: %), partial relief in 4 cases (13.3%) and 2 cl:.seslierestill compl!;lintof the obstruction •We found that it is e. simple procedure that can bu perfornedunder both local ar.d general anaesthesia.
