Prof.Dr Hussein El Maghraby, the University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs headed the Council of The University hostels in presence of Dr Gamal Sousah, the general supervisor on the University hostels, Dr Awad Ahmed, the general secretary at Qalyubia Governorate and Dr Hamdy El Tabbakh, the Secretary of Health ministry at the Governorate. El Maghraby assured on finishing all of maintenance works before housing students and he also discussed numbers of accepted students at the hostels in addition to discussing ways and strategies of developing and improving all services at the hostels
Benha University wins the second place in the week of the university hostels week that was held in the University of Suez from 14-9-2018 to 20-8-2018. There were 20 Egyptian universities that took part in this competition. Prof.Dr. EL-Magraby, the University president heaps praise on the excellent performance of the students there.
Despite the excellent services that students enjoy in the university hostels, there are some problems that most of the students complain of. These problems are about the internet connection, the bad equipment of the computer labs, therefore the students resort to other institutes to resume their researches in addition to the general complaints like the increase of fees and closing the hostels doors and this didn't match with most of the faculties. Benha University has four hostels that accommodate 2200 students.
Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president, during his presidency of the Benha University's leaders council, honors two workers for their honesty. These workers are Ahmed Muhammad Saied and Ahmed Megahed Abdel Moneim from the university hostels. The university president awards them by giving them certificates of appreciations and 1000 L.E. for each one of them.
There is a workshop that has been held at the university hostels in Kafr-Saad in which prof.Dr. Abdel-Kader Abdel EL-Karim, the ISO official in Benha University, delivers a lecture on how to get the ISO and he sets an example of the administrations that get the ISO 9001. The participants are as follows: prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, the university president chancellor of the university hostels affairs, prof.Dr. Ashraf Awad, the supervisor of the university hostels and Mr. Samy Mansur, the general manager.

Prof.Dr. El-Sayed EL-kady, the university president asserts that the university is keen on providing the best services to the students in the university hostels. He stresses that the university seeks to contact students to solve their problems. This statement concurs with the university president's visit to the university hostel in Shubra with Amin Khalawy to make sure in the hostel regarding kitchens, restaurants, is well-done. The university president meets the students to listen to their opinion in the hostel-related issues. He ordered that students' problems should be solved.
In the frame of the cooperation protocol between the university and “Misr el-Kheer” organization under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Gamal Ismail, the acting president of the university, a team has been collected to carry out the protocol under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Gamal Sosa, the general supervisor of the university hostels, this team was headed by prof. Dr. Ali Ghalil, the supervisor of the Kafr-Saad hostels.
