A student delegation from Benha University participated in the "Egyptian Foreign Policy" program organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Immigration at the Ministry' s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital. The event was attended by Prof. Badr Abdel-Aty, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, along with his assistants, and included the participation of 50 students from 20 Egyptian public universities.
The Science, Technology, and Innovation Funding Authority (STDF) announces the opening of applications for the Egyptian-German Cooperation Program (GERF), aimed at enhancing the link between scientific research and industry, supporting Egypt's efforts in technological innovation, and building strong, long-term partnerships between research institutions and industrial entities.

Prof. Dr. Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President said the University has been ranked among best world universities in veterinary science according to Shanghai Global Ranking of Academic Subjects 2020 for the 2nd time consecutively. Benha University got several medals at the 1st competition of the African Universities Youth Week which was held in the period from 19 to 25 of October 2019. The new version (September, 2018) of the international British ranking of higher education has been issued to show the following facts:
1- Benha University appears for the first time in this international ranking
2- Benha University is among the first category of the Egyptian Universities which ranks between 601 -800 on the international apparatus. Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the University president signs an agreement with Eng/ Attar Hanora, the head of the Egyptian countryside company. This agreement includes five fedans for Benha University to establish the rice researches center in cooperation with the Central university of China and its rice researches center
On Tuesday, the training course that is designed to improve Benha University's nurses' efficiency has been ended and it is attended by 85 of the Nursing staff in the University hospitals. According to Webometrics rankings in January 2018, Benha University has obtained 6th position in the ranking of the Egyptian universities; it also obtained the 20th position in the ranking of the Arab Universities, it obtains the 27th position in the ranking of the African universities and it obtains the 1802 position in the international ranking.
In the cooperation between Benha University and central china university, it has been decided to set up an experimental farm in cooperation with the company of the Egyptian countryside to benefit from the experience of the Chinese university in planting rice using the salty water according to what prof.Dr. EL-Sayed el-Kady, the university president.

Benha University hosts the fifth meeting of the heads of quality management centers in the Egyptian universities. This event is organized by the national authority of quality assurance and accreditation center and it is entitled “the impact of the accreditation in higher education institutes” on Monday, 27-11-2017 in the university council hall.

The students of Benha University get ten medals at the competition of the Egyptian universities in Alexandria. This competition was from Monday to Thursday and it was organized by the ministry of youth and sport and there were 22 Egyptian universities who participated in this contest. Prof.Dr. Moshbeh El-kehily, the general manager of the youth care at the university said that the students get five golden medals, three bronze medals and two silver medals in the athletic games and table tennis.
