Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, announced that the university has been classified in the SCImago ranking for 2026 among the first category (Q1) universities in the overall index. It ranked 12th among 55 universities in Egypt and 15th among 94 academic and research institutions in Egypt. Additionally, it ranked 26th in Africa out of 345 universities and 48th in the Arab world out of 398 universities included in this edition.

Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, announced that Benha University has ranked 1171 in the world according to the Spanish Webometrics ranking, July 2024, among more than 31,000 universities around the world that participated in the ranking as following; In the Arab world, the University ranked 27th out of 1,366 Arab Universities, on the African level, the University ranked 21st out of 2,060 African Universities, Locally, the University ranked 8th among 81 Egyptian governmental and private universities that participated in the ranking.

Prof. Dr. Gamal Sosa,Benha University President announced that Benha University has advanced 139 positions according to the Spanish Webometrics Classification that issued in July 2022, as it ranked 1225 among more than 31 thousand universities around the world that participated in the classification. At the level of Arab World, Benha University has occupied the rank 23th among 1361 of Arabian universities.
