Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-kady, the university's president pays a visit to the faculty of computer and informatics and the faculty of applied arts to inspect the first day of the academic year. EL-Kady says that saving 14 million L.E is a great challenge to the university and he also says that some faculties are assigned by the university president, like the faculty of engineering/ shubra and the faculty of applied arts to provide the faculties with the tables and the chairs needed for the exams.

E-Learning center organizes a workshop in the faculty of applied arts and the faculty of computer and informatics on Monday, 30-10-2017 about the cloud model system. Prof.Dr. Muhammad Ghanem, the vice CEO of information technology and Mr. Muhammad Mohktar, the training coordinator in the center conducts this training to the participants.

The candidature is open for the deanship position of the faculty of applied arts from 21-10-2017 to 26-10-2017 in the office of the vice president of educational and students affairs where the candidates can apply to the position.

The regular meeting of Benha university council, under the presidency of prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president, is held to discuss many important issues regarding the faculty of specific education, the faculty of applied arts and the faculty of law.

Prof.Dr. El-Sayed El-Kady, the university president and the accompanying delegation sign a cooperation protocol with Wuhan University in presence of prof.Dr. Muhammad Abu Salim, the dean of the faculty of veterinary medicine, prof.Dr. Mahmoud Magraby, the dean of the faculty of agriculture, prof.Dr. Tamer Samir, the acting dean of the faculty of applied arts and prof.Dr. Osama Ezat, the former deputy of the faculty of faculty of engineering at Shubra. The university president says that the cooperation protocol allows Benha University to get three or five MA and PhD scholarships specialized in remote sensing, IT, students and faculty's members exchange and he stresses that the fields of researches are determined according to what has been agreed upon between both universities and the cooperation protocol is also about enhancing the cooperation between the both universities in engineering, scientific research, scholarships, students training and the other research projects.
