The department of Gastroenterology holds, in cooperation with the Egyptian assembly of the Gastroenterology, the second conference next Thursday for two days. This conference will be held under the auspices of prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president, prof.Dr. Mahmoud Abd El-Sabour, the faculty's dean. The participants will discuss many researches regarding the Gastroenterology, liver diseases and serious diseases as said by prof.Dr. Mustafa Soliman El-Kady, the head of the department of Gastroenterology in the faculty of medicine.

Benha University organizes a workshop to discuss the student bylaw and presents its recommendations in the first forum that will be held from 22-2-2017 to 25-2-2017 under the auspices of prof.Dr. Ashraf El-Shihy, the minister of higher education and scientific research. The participants discuss the possibility to change a number of provisions of the student bylaw and its impact on the educational process. The workshop is attended by prof.Dr. Ibrahim Ragah, the head of the projects development unit in the university and the deputy of community service and environment development in the faculty of medicine, prof.Dr. Khalid Esawi, the university's president's chancellor of the stduents activities, prof.Dr. Moshbeh El-Kehily, the general manager of the youth care department, the representatives of the student unions in the university's faculties, the members of the youth parliament in Qulubia governorate and number of students from the different faculties in the university.

Benha University receives, with deep sorrow and bleeding hearts, the tragic accident that results in the death of several students of the faculty of pharmacy in Alexandria University. Benha University also hopes a speedy recovery for its students who are injured in the bus accident which is on its way to Sinai. Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president consoles the prof.Dr. Essam EL-Kordy, the president of Alexandria University, his deputies, the deans, the faculties' members, the employees and the students. On Sunday, the activities of the agricultural round no.39 is launched at the faculty of agriculture in Benha University under the auspices of the minister of higher education, the minister of youth and sport ,the Qalubia governor and prof.Dr. EL-Sayed El-Kady, the university president. Prof.Dr. Mahmoud Eraqi, the dean of the faculty of agriculture in Moshtohor says that the agricultural round starts from 5-2-2017 to 8-2-2017 and there are 750 students who participate in the event. The students represent 14 agricultural faculties and institutes around the Egyptian universities.

Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed El-Kady, the university president and the head of the deans-selecting committee in the university announces the final list of the nominees for the deanship position in the faculty of engineering/ Shubra and the faculty veterinary medicine. There are 11 candidates in the two faculties and it is important to say that the candidature period is closed on Thursday, 26-1-2017 and the appeal period was opened for just one day on Wednesday, 1-2-2017 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
