Few hours ago, the result of the Webometrics international ranking is revealed showing that Benha university portal is among the best five Egyptian universities. The university also maintains the fifth place in its race with 23 governmental universities and it maintains the sixth place in its race with 61 governmental and private universities. Congratulations to everybody who participate in such prestigious accomplishment!

Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president says that there is a Cooperation protocol between Benha University and Egypt Fund in the Geometrical and scientific counseling in addition to scientific research. The cooperation protocol is signed in the presence of general / Amr Abd El-Moniem, the Qulubia Governor. The university president says that he meets with prof.Dr. Abd EL-Moneim Badawy, the chancellor of the united Arab Bank stressing that signing the protocol comes as a reward for the success and the fruitful participation of the faculty of engineering /Shubra regarding the geometrical supervision on the “Tahia Misr” City to put an end to the squatter areas. This city is one of the big projects that are established under the auspices of the president of Egypt /Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi.

Benha university launches, headed by prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-kady, the university president, a campaign of a free Virus-C university in cooperation with Egypt Fund. The university president says that he meets with Mr. Muhammad Ashmawy, the Executive manager of the fund, prof.Dr. Abd EL-Moneim Badawy, the chancellor of the united Arab Bank. The meeting is held in the presence of Mrs. Manal Shahin, Mrs. Heba Hafez, and the head of programs sector, communication and media, prof.Dr. Mahmoud Abd EL-Sabour, the dean of the faculty of medicine, prof.Dr. Yosry El-Saied, the head of the hospitals and Mr. Wael Meky, the manager of public sector in the university.

Rawan Ashraf, the student at the faculty of engineering and the assistant secretary of the sport committee, wins the first place and obtains the gold medal at the swimming contest. This contest is held in Aswan on Monday, 30-1-2017 and there are 135 players who participate in the contest around the Egyptian universities. Benha University also congratulates the student on her great accomplishment wishing her more success and prosperity in her life.

Prof.Dr. Hesham Abu EL-Enin, the vice president of post-graduate studies and researches states that the period of presenting the competitive research projects of the young Researchers will be extended to the fifth round in the middle of February 2017. Benha university council holds its meeting in Sharm EL-Sheikh approves on the bulletin of the faculty of education to launch six curriculums to prepare teachers of English, physics, chemistry, science and math in addition to preparing the teachers of primary education in science and math. The bylaws of these programs should be ready to be delivered to the sector committees of supreme council of the universities to be endorsed. Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed El-Kady, the university president says that these programs meet the demands of the labor market on one hand and develop the quality of education in the university's faculties on the other.
