We consider RF ablation to the soft palate as an adventitious procedure for the reduction of size of soft palate if compared to different methods of surgical intervention, moreover it is safe, effective, less invasive, and can be done under local anesthesia. It does not cause glandular destruction and thus not affect the sensation.RecommendationHowever we advise more work to study the effect of RF ablation as a function of intensity given by the radio frequency device. |
