Dr.Gamal Sosa, Benha University President and Dr. Tamer Samir, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs have inspected the third phase of Ashbal Misr Digital Initiative that submitted by Egypt's Communications and Information Technology Ministry to support 3,000 free scholarships annually for Egyptian students from 12 to 17 years old to train them in various ICT skills, as well as personal and life skills, to help them reach a better future. The Initiative was held at Electronics laboratories Tests of the University .
Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Researches' Affairs said that the University got 14 Followships and 5 scholarships in addition to one joint supervision mission within the eighth 5 years plan of missions 2017-2022 by the competitive system between the applicants, adding that the delegation countries varied between America, Germany, Canada, Japan and Italy, confirming that scholarships included faculty members and researchers from the faculties of veterinary medicine, science, agriculture, arts, engineering in Benha, and commerce.
The faculty of medicine holds, today, a workshop for the nursing staff in the university hospitals. This workshop is attended by prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-kady, the university president, prof.Dr. Mahmoud Abd El-Sabour, the faculty's dean, prof.Dr. Yosry EL-Saied, the general manager of the university hospital, the faculties' deputies and the faculties' members and the workshop is about medical computerization in cooperation with “Misr EL-Kheir” organization.
Benha University launches the fourth phase of livestock project tomorrow that is carried out by the faculty of agriculture in cooperation with bank Misr for development. This project includes distributing 390 rabbits and hens at the cost of one million and half pounds. This phase will be launched in the presence of Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president, colonel, Mahmoud Ashmawy, the Qulubia governor, a number of the parliament representatives , the representatives of bank Misr for development and several faculties' deans.
Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president accompanied by prof.Dr. Hesham Abu EL-Enin, the vice president of the post-graduate studies and research pay a visit to the MIS center in the university to inspect its preparations of the new academic year. They listen to prof.Dr. Mustafa EL-Sayed talking about the tasks of the center.

In the frame of Benha University's endeavor to develop the admission methods of the stduents to get enrolled in the post-graduate studies stage in the university's faculties, prof.Dr.El-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president stresses that it is very important to keep developing the post-graduate studies system. The MIS project holds a training course of those who are responsible of post-graduate studies in a number of the faculties.

After his word, Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president honors five scientists in the field of chemistry by giving them the armor of Benha University as follows: prof.Dr. Muhammad Youssef EL-Kady, prof.Dr. Saad Hasan, prof.Dr. Mahasen Saad Amin, prof.Dr. Galal EL-Gemiey and prof.Dr. Farouk Fahmy. The forum is attended by prof.Dr. Abd EL-Azim Mehna, the faculty's dean and prof.Dr. Alaa Amin, the head of chemistry department and the rapporteur of the forum.

Benha University's delegation participates in Microsoft conference in the Nile Ritz hotel at Cairo on Monday, 20-3-2017 where the applications of Microsoft can be used in the university campus in the educational process. The conference is attended by prof.Dr. Nabil Hasan, the executive manager of the projects management administration in the ministry of higher education and Eng. / Tarek Ali, the ICTP official, prof.Dr. Ghazi Assasa, the executive manager of IT, prof.Dr. Lotfy Abu Salim, the head of the training project of IT, prof.Dr. Muhammad Muhammad Ghanem, the vice executive manager of IT, prof.Dr. Mazen Selim, the head of digital network, prof.Dr. Reda Omar, the Mis manger, prof.Dr.Shady EL-Mashad, the manager of the E-Portal and Eng. Ahmed Shibel, the engineer at the digital network.
Benha University congratulates Prof.Dr. Mustafa El-Sayed Abd- El-Moniem, the lecturer at the department of mechanical engineering in the faculty of engineering- Shubra, on being the deputy manager of the management information system in the university for one year wishing him great success in his new position.
