Under the patronage of Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, Prof. Jehan Abdel-Hady, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, inaugurated the first annual conference of the Faculty of Arts, titled "Visions for Development in the Humanities and Challenges of the Digital Age."

El Gizawy thanked and commended in his speech all the staff at Benha University for their exerted efforts to organize the first semester exams and their commitment to apply all precautionary measures during the exams that passed peacefully despite all the current challenges. El Gizawy also congratulated Dr. Amr El-Dakhakhny, the assistant professor at Faculty of Medicine, for issuing the ministerial decree to appoint him as the executive manager for Benha University hospitals. Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president of Benha University inspected at his tour today several faculties at Benha University and followed up the final preparations for the first semester exams such as exams halls, control rooms, maintaining sterilization gates and following -up of sterilization in the light of the University precautionary measures to limit the spread of Corona Virus. El Gizzawy also inspected the readiness of the medical clinics and assured on presence of doctors and nurses to deal with any emergencies.

The new version (September, 2018) of the international British ranking of higher education has been issued to show the following facts:
1- Benha University appears for the first time in this international ranking
2- Benha University is among the first category of the Egyptian Universities which ranks between 601 -800 on the international apparatus. This category includes six Universities which are the American University in Cairo, Benha University, Beni Suif University, Kafr EL-Sheikh University, EL-Mansura University and Suez Canal University.
Benha University received its logo from the administration of the international British ranking that shows that Benha University is among the first category of the Egyptian Universities as follows:

Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president thanks General/ Mahmoud Ashmawy, the El-Qulubia governor due to the fruitful cooperation between the university and the governorate and he says that the university is doing its best to solve the community's problems.

In the first day of his visit to Great Britain, Prof.Dr. El-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president holds several meetings from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. with the official in Surrey University. In one of these meetings, El-kady discusses with the British side the possibility to set up a specialized center in the environment studies, creating a program of the scientific inventions and its marketing and singing many cooperation protocols between the two universities in the fields of the engineering, economics, entrepreneurship and veterinary medicine. Benha university council discusses, on Tuesday, 28-3-2017 under the presidency of prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president, the latest updates of the hospital that will be established in the property of Benha University. Benha University's council discusses, in its meeting which was held on Tuesday Under the auspices of prof.Dr. El-Sayed El-kady, the university president, the recommendations of the first Egyptian universities forum that was held on the last Thursday and it was inaugurated by prof.Dr. Khalid abd EL-Gafer, the minster of higher education.

There are five preliminary workshops as preparation of the first Arab forum of the faculty and leadership development center. Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Fouda, the dean of the faculty of education says that the forum discusses that the new studies of the faculties' members from different universities in the major of education technology and remote learning.

Prof.Dr. El-Sayed El-Kady, the university president hosts prof.Dr. Ghaleb Orikat, the vice president of Amman University, prof.Dr. Sakr EL-Khrabsha, the head of the oval office of university studies in Jordan. The university president asserts that the possibility of holding the first Arab forum of higher education between Egypt and Jordan in cooperation with Benha university to discuss higher education-related issues, its problems, its challenges, scientific research, the international ranking of the universities and the new scientific programs stressing that this forum will be held in Egypt.
