Under the auspices of Prof. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, the university announces the organization of the "Smart Healthcare" Hackathon under the slogan “Innovating the Future of Healthcare” in February 2026, in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. This initiative stems from the belief in the role of higher education and scientific research in supporting digital transformation, as well as the ongoing pursuit of achieving the goals of Egypt's Vision 2030 towards a digital economy based on knowledge. It aims to encourage innovation, research, and development by empowering and motivating young programmers and idea creators to present their smart ideas and programming projects.

Benha University organizes in cooperation with the ministry of health a forum about the healthcare insurance law that has been endorsed by the people's assembly lately. This statement is uttered by prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president during the university's council.

The university leader's council, under the presidency of prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president, approves to apply the Healthcare insurance service to the faculty's members within Benha University and its hospitals.

Prof. Dr. el-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president delivers a message to the youth and the university students in which he says: "we work for all of you and you have to work hard to be do good to your country". This statement was uttered in university council headed by the university president. The meeting was held in the presence of prof. Dr. Adel Adawy, the former minister of healthcare, prof. Dr. Hesham Abu EL-Enin, the vice president of post –graduate studies and research, prof. Dr. Gamal Ismail, the vice president of community services and the environment development, the faculty deans and the university president advisors and student activities representatives.
