As part of its commitment to keeping pace with technological advancements and strengthening digital security awareness, Benha University's IT Training Unit is organizing a workshop entitled “Cybersecurity in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.” The event is held in collaboration with the Supreme Council of Universities' Central Training Unit and the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority.

Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, congratulated Abdullah Islam Rashad Abdel-Azim, a fourth-year student in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Benha Faculty of Engineering, on his team's achievement of securing third place in the CSC-4 International Cybersecurity Competition, hosted by the Military Technical College in its fourth edition.

Prof. Nasser Al-Gizawy, President of Benha University, announced the university's participation in a Cybersecurity workshop in China, taking place from April 14 to April 27, 2026. The workshop will feature a selection of experts and specialists from 36 countries worldwide, with the university represented by Prof. Sara Suwaidan, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence.

Under the auspices of Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, the Unit for Combating Violence Against Women organized an awareness seminar titled “Cyber Violence and Cybersecurity” at the Faculty of Physical Therapy.

Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, emphasized the university's commitment to continuously enhancing the skills of its staff and faculty by involving them in various important training courses aimed at improving institutional performance, particularly in the field of information technology, as part of the university's transformation into a smart university.

Under the auspices of Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, the university's Organization and Administration Department organized training courses on the fundamentals of Cybersecurity for university and college staff, in collaboration with the Center for Developing Computer Systems and Information Technology at the university and the Cisco Networking Academy.

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in partnership with Cisco Global Corporation (Cisco Systems) are announcing for (the Initiative of Cybersecurity by Using Distance Learning) to enhance the digital culture of dealing with data and using the Internet safely, in a way that contributes to strength the protection of personal data and privacy when using social media via the Internet.
