Prof. Nasser Al-Gizawi, President of Benha University, conducted an inspection tour of the ongoing implementation phase of a photovoltaic solar power station at the university's administration headquarters.

Under the patronage of Prof.Dr. Nasser Al-Gizawy, President of Benha University; Prof.Dr. Gehan Abdel Hady, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; and Prof.Dr. Taha Ashour, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, the University's Administrative Quality Systems Unit team implemented procedures for rationalizing electricity consumption by utilizing solar-powered lights. A number of these lights have been installed in the university dormitories.

Like other academic and research institutions, the university is a key partner in realizing the three dimensions of sustainable development social, environmental, and economic as it serves as one of the most important incubators for ideas and solutions to global problems.
