The Leadership Selection Committee in Benha University has held interviews today to the applicants for the University leadership positions which include the renewal for the following positions; general manager of Youth welfare, general manager of University hostels, general manager of Public Relation and Scientific Affairs, general manager of Engineering affairs and general manager of Education and Student Affairs.
Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, Benha University President has confirmed that the political leadership is interested in student talents and innovative projects within Egyptian universities. This came during the University president inauguration of the "Innovative Entrepreneurial Skills" event, which was organized by the University's Community Service and Environmental Development Sector.

Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president of Benha University, inaugurated "Leadership and Influence Program" which is approved by the Supreme Council of Universities and aims to qualify candidates for Faculties' Deanship. El Gizawy said that the program is organized by Faculty and Leadership Development Center (FLDC) and it lasts for three days; totally 18 training hours.
Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs inspected the Leadership Development Center at Moshtohor. Dr. Tamer Samir was accompanied by Dr. Mohamed Abu Salim , the General Supervisor of the Center and Dr. Ahmed Naguib, the general Manager of the Center to check out the preparations and procedures used to receive Benha University students participants in the Future Leaders Camp 7, which will be organized by the center this month.

On Sunday, Fulbright commission has ended its activities regarding the program designed for higher education leaders in Hurgada. Prof.Dr. El-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president asserts that the old concepts of labor should be changed to turn the society from consummation to production. The university president stresses on labor creativity and the importance of youth talk as every manager should hold a monthly meeting with his employees to communicate with them. The university president adds that the university leaders are chosen according to efficiency. This statement concurs with the university president meeting with the secretaries of the faculties and the CEOS. At the end of the meeting, the university president honors the secretaries of the faculties, who retired on pension, for their exerted effort in the service of the university.
Prof.Dr. El-Sayed El-Kady, the university president announces that there will be a center of lessons to be established for the students of the schools in the frame of the university and its faculties endeavor to serve the community. The university president stresses that, in the university's leaders council which includes the faculties deans and the university president chancellors, the different university's faculties should prepare curriculums that will be taught to the students of the schools. The university president says that the aim of establishing such centers is not only service the community, but also help to decrease the burdens over the parents' shoulders in addition to achieving an accomplishment of Benha university among the Egyptian and international universities.
It has been approved to hold the university leaders council, which includes the faculties deans and the vice president chancellors in the different sectors every Tuesday at the different faculties of the university. Prof.Dr. El-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president approves all the invitations he receives from the deans of the faculties in order to host the meeting once a week. The university's council will be held in the main building of the university every month.

The university president honors the top students in the student activities, the faculty's student union, scout team of the faculty for winning the first place and the faculty's employees. The university president asserts that the faculty of nursing goes by the criteria that guarantee the quality of education and that helps the students in the market place. Benha university participated in the international visitior program for leaders concerning higher education in the U.S.A on Sunday, 21-8-2016 supported by the ministry of foreign affairs of the United States of America. Prof. Dr. Hesham Abu-Enin, the vice president of post-graduate studies and research says that prof.Dr. Nasser el-Gizawy, the deputy of the faculty of agriculture and the manager of E-Portal, is the representative of the university. Al-Azhur university , Ain Shams University ,Beni-suif University and Aswan university. The vice president asserted that this program seeks to get to know the higher education system in the U.S.A. The vice president also says that the Egyptian delegation is going to visit many American Universities to get close to the education system.
