The Electoral Committees in Qalubia Governorate witnessed a large turnout from Benha University students' and employees to cast their votes in the 2024 Egyptian presidential elections.

Benha University organized major symposium entitled “Share Your Vote to Continue the Way “in order to encourage its students to participate in the presidential elections.

Dr.Gamal Sosa, Benha University President inspected in his sudden visit the first round of students union elections at several faculties and he was accompanied by Dr. Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs , Dr.Abeer El Rabat , the Faculty of Arts dean , Dr.Reda Abd El Haleem , the Faculty of Law dean ,Dr.Abd El Moamen Shams El Din , the Faculty of Applied Arts dean ,Dr.Samy Ghonemy , the Faculty of Commerce dean and Dr.Khaled Essawy , the general coordinator of Student activities. For his part, Dr. Tamer Samir said that 913 male and female students are competing for student union elections at the level of 16 faculties.

Benha University President honored the student Mohamed Refaee, Benha University Student Union President and the student Hager Garwany , the Vice President of Student Union after their winning of the Student Union Elections 2020.

Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students` Affairs inspected opening the door of nominations for student union elections 20202021 at Faculty of Specific Education. Prof.Tamer Samir was accompanied by Dr. Mohamed Ebrahim, the Faculty dean and Dr. Kahlid Esawy, the general coordinator for student activities. Dr. Tamer Samir assured that Benha University and its faculties have been fully prepared to hold student elections in complete integrity and transparency and he assured to take all precautions against Covid 19.

Prof.Dr. Hussien Magraby, the acting university president heaps praise of the success of the stduents ' union elections at Benha University and its faculties. He congratulates the students / Ahmed Islam and Muhammad Zaki on their triumph in the elections.

Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the University president, in the beginning of the University's council yesterday noon, congratulates the students on the success of the students' elections. The students set a perfect example of democratic practices in the elections that have been conducted neutrally and perfectly. El-kady congratulates the student/ Khalid Ali, the student/ Ahmed Islam and prof.Dr. Khalid Esawi, the coordinator of the students' activities.

Today morning, the second round of student union elections at ten faculties in Benha University for not getting the percentage of 50+1 that qualify them to win the elections. The elections last to 3 p.m. and the result will be announced today.

The student elections will be held next Sunday on 9 a.m. and the votes will be sorted in front of the candidates or their representatives after closing the ballot boxes at 3 p.m. the results of the elections will be declared after counting the votes. This statement concurs with holding the supreme committee of the student elections on Wednesday under the presidency of prof.Dr. Hesham Abu EL-Enin, the vice president of postgraduate studies and research and the acting vice president of the educational and student affairs.

Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president stresses that it is important for the university students to participate in students unions' elections in order to elect the best candidate who will nominate themselves to get the membership of the students unions'. EL-Kady says that the university is keen on having honorable elections in a democratic atmosphere.
