Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, honored the graduates of the first batch of the summer training program for biosafety and biosecurity. This event was attended by Prof. Gehan Abdel-Hadi, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Prof. Mohamed Basyouni, Director of the Laboratories and Scientific Equipment Unit at the university.

Prof.Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, President of Benha University, announced that "AJA" Company, the ISO certification body, has recommended granting the university's University Cities the Quality Management System Certificate (ISO 9001:2015), ISO 45001:2018, in addition to the Environmental Management Certificate (ISO 14001:2015), making them the first university cities to obtain these certificates at the university level after undergoing an external audit process for the quality management system and a review of occupational health and safety and environmental management procedures according to standard specifications.

Under the auspices of Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, and Prof. El-Sayed Fouda, Vice President for Community Service Affairs, the university's Crisis and Disaster Management Administration organized a workshop to raise awareness among university staff about safety and occupational health regulations.

Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, welcomed the assessment team for the quality system (ISO 9001:2015) and (ISO 45001:2018) from AGA, the certifying body for quality and occupational safety certificates, led by Prof. Mohamed Osman.

Under the auspices of Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, President of Benha University, Dr. Sayed Fouda, The University Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, witnessed the end of “Crises, Disasters, Safety and Occupational Health Course” which was organized at Faculty and Leadership Development Center (FLDC) from August 25 to 27, 2024.

Today, Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, BU president gets the certificates of quality insurance and professional safety iso9001-2015 ، ISO45001 2018 after being registered in the international authorities of certification.

The Faculty and Leadership Development Center "FLDC" at Benha University organized a training course about "Laboratory Safety" withing the training programs provided by the Center during current September. It is worth mentioning that the course had been held under the patron of Prof. Dr. Gamal El Saeed, the University President. In the same context, Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Researches ' Affairs said that the course discussed the concept of the laboratory safety and the rules security in laboratories
