Benha University has announced the activation of the cooperation agreement between Benha University and the University of Louisville in the United States through the launch of the Summer Training Program at the American University of Louisville, taking place from June 25 to September 25, 2026. This represents a qualitative step within the university's series of initiatives aimed at enhancing scientific integration between Benha University and global academic institutions, and providing distinguished research and applied opportunities for its students in advanced research environments.

Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, signed a cooperation agreement with the University of Louisville, USA, during his official visit to the University of Louisville in Kentucky as part of an Egyptian delegation that includes several presidents of public and private universities in Egypt.

Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, announced the hosting of Prof. Janet Eliza Beth Fisher, a fish specialist from the University of Georgia, USA, until next March.

Dr. Khaled Abd El Ghaffar , Minister of Higher Education witnessed events of the 47 Annual International Conference for the Association of Egyptian Scholars in USA and Canada that was held in the period from 22-23 122020 at Benha University by cooperation with Academy of Scientific Research & Technology and Association of Egyptian Scholars in USA and Canada . The Conference was held in presence of Prof.Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President, Dr. Mahmoud Sakr, the head of Academy of Scientific Research & Technology and Dr. Nasser El Shemy , the Head of Association of Egyptian Scholars in USA and Canada .

In the frame of the continuous initiatives that is launched by Benha University, the university organized, yesterday morning, a protest in order to reject the Judaization of Jerusalem and transferring the American capital to Jerusalem. The protest is attended by prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president, the vice presidents, and the university's deans, the faculties' members, the employees and the students.

Benha University organizes a protest against the American unjust decision to transfer the American embassy to Jerusalem to be the eternal capital of Israel. EL-Kady says that the Benha University decides to organize a protest to condemn such unjust decision of the American President/ Donald Trump.

The research team at the faculty of veterinary medicine manages to publish, under the supervision of prof.Dr. Muhammad Ghanem in cooperation with the University of Illinois in USA, two research papers in two top periodicals.

In the frame of raising the level of education and training in nursing, the Faculty of Nursing – Benha University has received Dr. Susan Silver, the professor at the International Institute of Education and the Officer of Education and Training Development in the Middle East and North Africa on Monday, 14/06/2016 under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the University President.
