The research team at the faculty of veterinary medicine manages to publish, under the supervision of prof.Dr. Muhammad Ghanem in cooperation with the University of Illinois in USA, two research papers in two top periodicals.

Prof.Dr. Hesham Abu EL-Enin, the vice president of post-graduate studies and researches states that prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president, approves on a two-week extension period for funding the research projects starting from Sunday, 19-2-2017. Such decision is taken upon a meeting with the young researchers during a workshop in the faculty of veterinary medicine. Prof.Dr. Maher Hasb El-Naby, the university president chancellor of scientific research says that there are 45 researchers, from nine faculties in the university, who apply for such event. He also adds that this two-week extension period aims at letting the researchers being funded. It is important to say that the fund is about 200,000 L.E. for the single research project and there should be no less than 10 competitively-chosen research projects that have to be funded.

Prof.Dr. El-Sayed El-Kady, the university president and the accompanying delegation sign a cooperation protocol with Wuhan University in presence of prof.Dr. Muhammad Abu Salim, the dean of the faculty of veterinary medicine, prof.Dr. Mahmoud Magraby, the dean of the faculty of agriculture, prof.Dr. Tamer Samir, the acting dean of the faculty of applied arts and prof.Dr. Osama Ezat, the former deputy of the faculty of faculty of engineering at Shubra. The university president says that the cooperation protocol allows Benha University to get three or five MA and PhD scholarships specialized in remote sensing, IT, students and faculty's members exchange and he stresses that the fields of researches are determined according to what has been agreed upon between both universities and the cooperation protocol is also about enhancing the cooperation between the both universities in engineering, scientific research, scholarships, students training and the other research projects.

Prof. Dr. el-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president inaugurates the German /Egyptian forum to control the Brucella diseases in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Moshtohor. The forum was held in the presence of prof. Dr. Muhammad Abu Salem, the dean of veterinary medicine faculty, prof. Dr. Mahmoud Eraqi, the dean of the faculty of agriculture, prof. Dr. Howayda Sadik, the dean of the faculty of nursing, prof. Dr. Khaild el-Emary, the head of the veterinary doctors, prof. Dr. Gay Selan, the pioneer of promatic science in the University of Berlin, prof. Dr. New power, the head of the German Federal institute and the staff members.

Prof.Dr. Fins Amiry, the former vice president of Surrey University visits the faculty of agriculture in Moshtohor in the presence of prof.Dr. Hesham Abu EL-Enin, the vice president of post –graduate studies and research, prof.Dr. Mahmoud Eraqi, the faculty dean, prof. Dr. Muhammad Abu Salem, the dean of veterinary medicine faculty, the faculty deputies and the staff members. This visit concurs with signing the cooperation agreement between Benha University and Surrey University.
