Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, announced the council's approval of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Benha University and Canterbury Christ Church University in the UK. This agreement includes the accreditation of 12 academic programs in the faculties of Computers and Artificial Intelligence and Commerce as dual study programs between the two universities, allowing students to obtain joint academic qualifications from both institutions.
Prof.Dr. Nasser Al-Gizawy, President of Benha University, announced that the University has officially received a delegation from Canterbury Christ Church University, United Kingdom. This visit falls within the university's keenness to support its internationalization efforts and enhance academic cooperation with prestigious international universities, exploring mechanisms for implementing joint academic programs under the Transnational Education (TNE) system.The British delegation included Mr. Stephen Lammiman, Director of International Cooperation and Academic Agreements; Dr. Lorna Thomas, Joint Academic Agreements Officer; and Ms. Michelle Shields, Transnational Education Programs Officer.
Within the framework of Benha University 's "BU" policy to open up to the world and build strong partnerships with international universities, a webinar has been held with the University of Canterbury under the auspices of Dr. Gamal El Saeed, BU President. BU has been represented in this webinar by Dr. Hussien Almaghrabi, the University Vice-president for Education and Students` Affairs; Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Researches ' Affairs; Dr. Ahmed Youssef, the Director of the University International Students Unit.
