The Leadership Selection Committee in Benha University has held interviews today to the applicants for the University leadership positions which include the renewal for the following positions; general manager of Youth welfare, general manager of University hostels, general manager of Public Relation and Scientific Affairs, general manager of Engineering affairs and general manager of Education and Student Affairs.
Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, Benha University President has confirmed that the political leadership is interested in student talents and innovative projects within Egyptian universities. This came during the University president inauguration of the "Innovative Entrepreneurial Skills" event, which was organized by the University's Community Service and Environmental Development Sector.
The Leadership Selection Committee at Benha University has received applicants for the leaderships' positions in presence of Prof.Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president of Benha University, Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs, Dr. Huda Sharawy , the former deputy for Benha University and Dr. Ashraf Shams El Din , the professor at faculty of Commerce .
Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president of Benha University, inaugurated "Leadership and Influence Program" which is approved by the Supreme Council of Universities and aims to qualify candidates for Faculties' Deanship. El Gizawy said that the program is organized by Faculty and Leadership Development Center (FLDC) and it lasts for three days; totally 18 training hours.
Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs inspected the Leadership Development Center at Moshtohor. Dr. Tamer Samir was accompanied by Dr. Mohamed Abu Salim , the General Supervisor of the Center and Dr. Ahmed Naguib, the general Manager of the Center to check out the preparations and procedures used to receive Benha University students participants in the Future Leaders Camp 7, which will be organized by the center this month.

Leadership Committee at Benha University held its meeting with applicants who applied for following positions; Education Affairs manager at Faculty of Education, The great hall and the Conferences hall manager, Public Relation manager and Education Affairs manager at faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence. The Committee was held under presidency of Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs and membership of Dr. Mohamed Mansour, the Faculty of Law deputy.

The Committee was held under presidency of Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs and membership of Dr. Gamal Soussa, the supervisor on Community Service Sector and Dr. Mohamed Mansour, the Faculty of Law deputy. The Committee listened to their opinions, plans, vision and the ability to make decisions and solve problems. For his part, Prof.Tamer Samir confirmed that the selection of leaders is done according to their efficiency, previous performance and Experience.

There are five preliminary workshops as preparation of the first Arab forum of the faculty and leadership development center. These workshops targets the classification of the curriculums, distributes them over three-days of the training, the determining the needs of the faculties' members, the teaching assistants, the post-graduate studies and the employees in addition to putting forwards many suggestions to develop the training organization as whole.
Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University stated that the Leadership Foundation for Higher Education has launched a new programme under the title of “Global Leadership Programme” to build a new strategy for universities to become more dynamic and effective in cross-cultural leadership and in their own institutional internationalisation strategy.
