The faculty of arts in Benha University holds an awareness forum entitled “the author's rights in the digital environment” under the auspices of Prof.Dr. Gamal Sosa, BU president, Prof.Dr. EL-Sayed Fouda, the vice president of community service and environment development and Prof.Dr. Mohamed Abu Arab, the acting dean of the faculty.
Dr.Gamal Sosa, Benha University President and Dr. Tamer Samir, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs have inspected the third phase of Ashbal Misr Digital Initiative that submitted by Egypt's Communications and Information Technology Ministry to support 3,000 free scholarships annually for Egyptian students from 12 to 17 years old to train them in various ICT skills, as well as personal and life skills, to help them reach a better future. The Initiative was held at Electronics laboratories Tests of the University .
Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president of Benha University opened the digital forensic lab at faculty of Computer and Artificial Intelligence.El Gizawy was accompanied by Prof. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs, Prof. Gamal Soussa, the Supervisor on Community Service Sector, Dr. Hala Helmy Zayed, the Faculty dean and other professors of the Faculty.
Prof.Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communication received Benha University delegation under auspices of Prof. Gamal El Saeed , Benha University President to study establishing Digital Innovation Training Center . Benha University delegation also included Prof. Nasser El Gizawy, the University Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches ' Affairs and Dr. Hala Helmy Zayed , the dean of Computer and Artificial Intelligence Faculty.
Benha University's Council under presidency of Prof. Dr. Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President has approved holding of Digital Transformation Basics Course for BU Staff and Students. The Course will be held at Information Technology Center (ITC) by cooperation with Technology and knowledge Services Center (TKSC) of the Supreme Council of Universities.
The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology "MCIT" announced for "Future Work is Digital" Initiative which aims to train the young Egyptians on the fields of Developed Information Technology in one of the following disciplines: (Website development, data analysis, and digital marketing). Nasser El Amir, the Director of Digital Transformation Unit at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the presence of Prof. Nasser El Gizawy, the University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Researches' Affairs; Prof. Tamer Samir, the University Vice-president for Education and Students` Affairs; Prof. Islam Elsharawy, the University Chief Information Officer; Prof. Shady Elmashad, the University Vice-chief Information Officer; and Prof. Ahmed Bayoumi, the Director of the University Management Information System.
Prof. Dr. Gamal El Saeed, Benha University President said the University has launched group of e-services for students, graduates, and postgraduates aiming to facilitate all university services remotely in the frame of facing the spread of novel Coronavirus and within the digital information policy of the University
In the frame of the presidential initiative of the President/Abdel El-Fattah EL-Sisi, Benha University holds a workshop to train on the information sources in the Knowledge bank. This workshop is held under the auspices of prof.Dr. EL-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president, prof.Dr. Hesham Abu EL-Enin, the vice president of post-graduate studies, prof.Dr. Muhammad Ghanem, the vice CEO of information technology, prof.Dr. Adel Nabil, the head of the digital library project, Sheikh, Ibrahim El-Hagg, the deputy of the ministry of endowment and the head of the central administration in Qulubia and Mr. Muhammad Dawood.

Benha University's delegation participates in Microsoft conference in the Nile Ritz hotel at Cairo on Monday, 20-3-2017 where the applications of Microsoft can be used in the university campus in the educational process. Under the auspices of prof.Dr. El-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president and prof.Dr. Hesham Abu El-Enin, the vice president of post-graduate studies and research, Benha University holds, on Sunday 19-2-2017, a workshop bout the Egyptian Knowledge bank at the conference hall in the faculty of commerce. This workshop is held in cooperation with the Digital library unit of the supreme council of the universities, the publishers, the companies which participate in the Egyptian Knowledge bank. The workshop is held in the presence of prof.Dr. Osama Hamed, the deputy of the faculty of arts, prof.Dr. Nasser EL-Gizawy, the deputy of the faculty of agriculture and prof.Dr. Khalid Eid, the deputy of the faculty of arts.
