The Faculty of Arts at Benha University organized a seminar titled "Women's Work and her Family Obligations," under the auspices of Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of the University, Prof. El-Sayed Fouda, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Amgad Hegazy, Dean of the Faculty, and Prof. Mohamed Al-Aqbi, Assistant Minister of Social Solidarity and Coordinator of University Units.
Under the patronage of Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, Prof. Jehan Abdel-Hady, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, inaugurated the first annual conference of the Faculty of Arts, titled "Visions for Development in the Humanities and Challenges of the Digital Age."
The University Council of Benha, chaired by Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy, the university president, honored Dr. Abdul Mo' men Shams El-Qarnifli, the former Dean of the Faculty of Applied Arts. The acknowledgment was received on his behalf by Dr. Sayed Al-Malqi, the acting Dean of the Faculty of Applied Arts, in recognition of his efforts and contributions throughout his tenure as dean over the past years.
Faculties of Applied Arts and Physical Education at Benha University witnessed influx of high school students to attend the aptitude tests in the period from 25-7-2024 till 8-8-2024, which are a basic condition for joining the two faculties according to the decisions of the Supreme Council of Universities.

It's noteworthy that the aptitude tests has started on Saturday yesterday till Thursday that corresponds to 27th of July in the faculty of applied arts, the faculty of physical education and the faculty of specific education.

Prof.Dr. El-Sayed El-Kady, the university president visits the faculty of applied arts, sees the creations of the stduents of the faculty and listens to their explanations of their works of art. The university council honors the winners of the international programming contest that was held in the capital, Heliniski and lasted for three days in the last November. There were 1000 students from 428 European and American universities who participated in this contest. Benha university team obtained the second place in the contest. The honored students are the following; Bassem Ehab, Muhammad Sakr, Muhammad Abd-el-Nabi, Hesham Osman and Muhammad Ehab from the faculty of engineering/ Shubra in addition to Nourhan Radwan and Mirna Soliman from the faculty of applied arts.

The university president says that the cooperation protocol allows Benha University to get three or five MA and PhD scholarships specialized in remote sensing, IT, students and faculty's members exchange and he stresses that the fields of researches are determined according to what has been agreed upon between both universities and the cooperation protocol is also about enhancing the cooperation between the both universities in engineering, scientific research, scholarships, students training and the other research projects.
Prof.Dr. El-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president asserts that the Egyptian/ Chinese relationships are very strong, especially after the president's / Abd-Fattah El-Sisi visit to China as he says that there are common traditions between the both peoples in addition that the Egyptian civilization and Chinese civilization are the oldest civilizations in the world. The university president says that he signs, during his visit to China, 6 protocols with 6 Chinese universities regarding students exchange and training in addition to increasing the MA and PhD scholarships to the Chinese Universities to exchange experiences with the Egyptian universities. These statements concur with the university president reception to Prof.Dr. Xiao Ling, the dean of the faculty of Arabic language in Beijing International Studies University. The Chinese professor was hosted by the university president in the presence of prof.Dr. Gamal Ismail, the vice president of community service and environment development, prof.Dr. El-Sawy El-Sawy, the coordinator of the international relationships with the Asian countries and several professors from the faculties of Arts and education.
Prof.Dr. El-Sayed EL-Kady, the university president stresses that teaching the Japanese and Chinese languages are very important in the university's faculties to cope up with the Egyptian foreign policy which is headed to the East by cementing the Egyptian relationship with the Asian countries. The university president asserts that there will be a department of Japanese language in the faculty of arts and it will be inaugurated next March. Prof. Dr. El Sayed Yusuf El Kady, the President of Benha University received Prof. Dr. Ashraf Al-Shehhi - Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research who visited Benha University in 2692016 to launch "We Love Egypt Initiative" from faculty of Arts then, they held open meeting with students to discuss several topics with them, in addition to visiting faculty of Nursing and Education to inspect the educational process.
